I'm in a great mood today, I have discovered rich tea biscuits! THE cure for my morning sickness (well I say morning...). I eat a bisuit and 10 minutes later i'm sorted. I didn't start off in a good mood, I brushed my teeth and couldnt stop gagging
but 1 biscuit later and i'm in business
.
2b I hope you're better today x
Mumof2beasties I hear the itchy nipple thing! Thats why I took my hpt in the first place. It is the most annoying sensation ever, especially at work where its not really appropriate to be scratching away
x
Try eating the biscuit before you get out of bed (or even sit up) and lay down for another 10 minutes

Hello.... may I join you ladies? I am nine weeks today and just had my second scan to see little olive in place and measuring right. It has been a very long journey to conceive #2; five years, five miscarriages, endless tests and theories, all dead ends. Now I have found a brilliant consultant who has discovered my problem (natural killer cells) and has made the impossible possible by means of lots and lots of medication! He was very pleased at the scan this morning and said that my chance of miscarriage now drops to the same as any other woman. So that is hugely reassuring.
Two weeks til my nuchal scan.... something else to obssess over!0 -

So I handed in the obligatiry urine sample to the doctors last Thursday and was told it would be back possibly Monday or definately Tuesday. So I called this morning to be told it's not back and to phone after lunch again and if it's not back they will chase it up. Phoned back at 2pm to be told no it's not here yet, phone back at 5pm.
I know I'm pregnant as had a positive result last monday but in order to get my first appointment with midwife I need to get a positive result done from the surgery. They won't even give you the telephone number for the midwifes until they get the positive back.
With my daughter I just went to the docs and got booked into see the midwife without having to hand in a urine sample. Withis time.sh I had just done this
I can't actually believe that in this day and age that a pregnancy urine sample is sent away to the local hospital to be tested and not done locally at the surgery.

Missty thats weird, mine didn't do anything to be fair, she said the 2 clearblue digital were enough proof, especially considering i took 2 and it showed further dates

I know I ave to do a urine test when I go to midwife but I just booked that at the doctors. Maybe it just depends on the surgery you go to?Saving money like a trouper...0 -
very odd missty; I've not even had a test done, the doc kinda took my word for it!
Sarahs999 - welcome. What a difficult and long journey you've been on; hopefully you can now see the light at the end of the tunnel
hugs for all the sickness; I've found little and often keeps on top of it (not totally gone though). I'm still on a very plain, bland diet though!!
chonorla - thanks for the advice. I'm hoping its fine, I think its the fact the doc has sent me for the scan that's making me nervous. Afterall, its only the day before my growth scan!!!
