    Right, finally on a computer!

 to all the newbies! Welcome and congratulations! I should have added you to the under 12 weeks list, but if you can't see yourself, please let me know!

I've also updated the list for those who were already on there, if you spot a mistake - please let me know. My brain + maths is not what is used to be! :D

I think Millie and one other has a scan today, so good luck for that - let us know how you get on!

AFM, we went to see the women's boxing at the Olympics yesterday - it was phenomenal! BUT I have definitely worn myself out completely and am so glad that I took the rest of this week off, so I can recover today! (i.e spend the day in bed!!)

My emotions definitely feel like they have evened out (maybe I was having a big old surge the other day?!) - whatever it was, I and I am sure DW are grateful!!

I had some leg cramps yesterday, but I assume that its from not drinking enough water. Oh and the oddest pain, that was in my groin, right on the crease where your legs joins - like a sharp stabbing pain. I asked my paramedic friend what she thought it could be, and she said kidney stone - BUT it disappeared, so trying not to think about that too much!

I got a fabulous bargain for a baby monitor the other day, second hand of course :money: - even though I said I wouldnt buy anything, I couldn't resist this bargain!

Pisces I haven't had a booking in test, so can't help you out I am afraid. The only way I could get over my blood test fear, was by having lots of them! I have a blood disorder, so I went though having my blood taken on at least a monthly basis, if not more! I definitely find though not looking at it helps, AND (easier said than done) try and think about anything, trees swaying in the breeze, a waterfall? Something relaxing if you can!

dundeediva How's the sickness now, any other biscuits helping?

Everybody else Hope everyone is OK xx

    Morning everyone!!

Millie good luck this morning :)

2b I'm glad you feel better now I was getting worried about you! Thanks for this lists, you're doing a great job :)

Pisces hi! I haven't had my appointment yet (is on Monday) so don't know but I'm pretty sure they can't pin you down and take blood against your will however they will probably strongly advise you to get in done for the sake of baby.

AFM I am so sick just now, I started off overweight anyway but have lost 8lbs since I got my BFP (3 weeks ago). Has this happened to anyone else? I'm just eating what I can when I can and just hope baby is getting everything it needs (trying to stay hydrated too). Even the thought of certain food makes me gag, any meat or fish eurgh!!!! I'm loving crackers at the moment so I am eating a ridiculous amount of them when the nausea subsides. Hope this doesn't last for long :(

    Hi all

Yes! My dreams become very intense when i am pregnant and sexy dreams become a regular thing too, they are usually extremely vivid and get even more intense the further into pregnancy i am. Enjoy it i say!:rotfl:

    Oh I am!! :D:D:D

Also, I read that dreaming about water is very common in early pregnancy too, something to do with your increased awareness of the amniotic fluid, or something?!

So my dream last night was a very naughty dream in a swimming pool/lake/river! I was VERY disappointed when DW woke me up. Its only my second dirty dream so far, but I say BRING IT ON!!

Oh dundeediva, bless you. I wish I could offer you some works of encouragement or advice, but not having it, I don't know much about it.

I did read that it's a good sign though (and there is a more increased risk of miscarriage if you don't have MS, which I dont) - so I would like a bit please.... yes, I am mad- googling is not my friend!!

Can you go to docs, I think there are things doc can give you that are OK for the baby.

NOT TRUE! There's no correlation between symptoms and miscarriage. If you had strong symptoms and they completely disappear, then it can be an indication of a problem (not necessarily though), but strength of symptoms doesn't indicate how healthy a pregnancy is. So stop worrying and step away from Dr Google.

MS is grim though. My go-to was satsumas, I found that they 'cleansed' my mouth so I didn't have that horrible taste so much. Also, carry a peppermint teabag for sniffing, I found that helped.

I lost loads of weight in first trimester, it's quite normal (especially if you've got plenty to lost like I do!) and as long as you're keeping enough fluids down to stay hydrated (ie wee not dark yellow) baby will be helping itself to everything it needs. My top tip is to eat small amounts regularly, and go for high calorie density foods. There were lots of days when all I could face was cheese and a few crackers for dinner, but it doesn't take many slices to add up to quite a few calories! That way I felt at least I was getting some calories in. I also *tried* to include a piece of fruit with every snack/meal so that I was getting fibre etc, but some days it really wasn't happening!
