I'm back!!! And it was all fine :D

Baba was well behaved at first and we got some lovely images, then, when the sonographer wanted to do the measurements, (s)he moved and made it really difficult (and hid one arm to boot!). I was told to go to the loo, as this can make baba move and I did and (s)he did move enough to get sufficient readings. NT was measuring consistently at 0.16cm, so 1.6mm, which is fine for 12 weeks (which I am measuring today, exactly :) ). Typically for me, while OH was enjoying the view, I was trying to read the measurements on the screen...

I then went to see the midwives and had my bloods done, so I've just got to wait for the combined results now.

Such relief and some fab piccies to take away!

Sooo I appear to be back again. By dates I'm 4/5 weeks pregnant (and I can pretty much pin down the date of conception since we've only done the deed once since the baby arrived)... added complication of a 17 week old baby - since she arrived at 33 weeks and had to go to NICU and then a hospital stay from hell - I'm somewhat terrified shall we say?

May believe it more if a digital gives the same result when I pop to Tescos again later (need some folic acid). Hopefully I get tonnes of extra monitoring for a miscarriage history and the prematurity thing for little miss. There's a distinct potential for an under-1 year gap if this one goes early as well though!

Hopefully I'll get early scans again (it's on my notes to call EPU if I got pregnant again - just can't face doing that today) - last time I was scanned weekly from 6 weeks (much to the little madam's dismay - at her 20 week scan she actually shoved a hand out to block the view of the probe).

Think I need to invest in a digital for this to sink in - two tests with two lines ain't enough yet! (Took us 6 years to get number 1) Not counting any chickens though - I've lost a few at around the 6 week mark in the past.

Was only talking to the midwife this morning anyway! Ran into her when I was down at baby clinic getting the little miss weighed and the last time she saw her was when she was a 4lb thing the size of a child's doll so of course she stopped and commented on the fact she's now a 12lb lump!

Yay dizzi! I've heard it said that the body likes being pregnant and so #2 often comes along quite easily after #1, hope that works out for you :)

Is it usual for symptoms to peter out on a weekly basis?

Like last week my boobs were so sore and I was peeing like crazy, but over the last couple of days I haven't woken to pee in the night and my boobs are only a tiny bit sore?

I've heard of them coming and completely going, but what about when they go just a little bit?
