Yes I will be 3 weeks tomorrow, my period was due the 11th August.

Yes think that is why I am in a bit of shock. I must ovulate immediately after my period. I bought some OPK sticks and started testing about 5 days after my period but they only showed one day of a faint line and then nothing for the rest of the month. I thought I had missed it, but obviously not!

I had been hoping to get an idea of my cycle in preparation for trying, but guess that is not necessary now!

The sickness is always the give away for me (hence why I test so early), long before a missed period. It can make for a long pregnancy if it lasts all the way through again

My first pregnancy I survived on Refresher sweets and my second was frozen lemonade cubes :rotfl:

Third pregnancy was only up to 16 weeks, so fingers crossed this will be the same !:D

Hi everyone, today I am 6+6 weeks. I have been lurking for a week or two and am enjoying reading everyone's posts.
I am really struggling with tiredness, and the sickness. Also, I'm ravenous all the time and I need to eat every two hours (except at night, when I am wee-ing every two hours!)
On Wednesday I shall be having all my blood tests - anyone know the volume of blood that they take?

I *think* im 5 weeks today

I worried about telling one friend, her and her OH have been trying for ages & having all sorts of tests done, she knows that we werent planning on having a baby for a while so will know its unplanned, I dont want to upset her

2ba3c- that is a really difficult situation for you to be in, I can't imagine how you are feeling/coping. Have you said you will help her?

Looking at my dates, I am not sure how far pregnant I am sorry :rotfl: I am messing you about sorry...
The first day of my last period was 14th July. So does that make me 3 weeks and 2 days? I am not sure how you work it out at all?? Perhaps someone with the knowledge will help me out

Sid Wolf - I am in a similar position - I have had 2 friends who have lost babies in the past fortnight - one of them has issues conceiving too. It took her 3 years to conceive with her little boy and 18 months for the most recent pregnancy. I know she would be thrilled for me (as we were pregnant at the same time for our last little boys) but I just feel so sad for her at the moment

So for now this will remain my little secret :cool:

6+6 is early compared to when they did mine, but if it's the same as mine (10/11 weeks ish) it's about 4-5 vials. And that included the sickle cell testing which my hospital seems to do as standard (they test for a whole stash of things, HIV, blood type, sickle cell, iron count, Hep B...).
If you have nuchal testing after your 12 week scan it's another vial then.

as far as i know so far i am 5+1 today. Not really feeling as pregnant as i did last week for some reason! I will just be thankful that my symptoms have left for a while and i can have a few days of feeling normal.

Chonorla - if your clearblue thing says 1-2 weeks since conception then you are about 3.5 weeks pregnant. Thats the same as what I was when I found out (although i thought i was further on until scan last week, must have ovulated very late).

I am 7+6 today. Not liking going back 3 weeks after thinking I was nearly 11 weeks, grrrrr. Anyway, had booking appointment at hospital which was all fine, I am officially low risk. They couldnt get blood out of me though so got to go back tomorrow. Nuchal scan is now 4th Sept.

make sure you drink lots of fluids between now and tomorrow it is supposed to help with pumping your veins up a bit and make it easier to take blood.
