Yay Flint! The scan appointment should just arrive but there's no harm in phoning up the hospital to check that you're in the system sometime later this week. Have you had the appointment where they go through your entire medical history (it seems!) yet? After that your wife will get a folder with notes to lug around with her, once you've had that I'm pretty sure you'll be in the system and the scan appointment should just get made.0

Countrybum - I wish I could say I did enjoy the Carvery yesterday, but for the second time (we go there nearly ever week!) I couldn't finish what I put on my plate very early into the meal and started feeing hot and sick. I had to stop and fan myself in a corner. Luckily everyone who was there knew I was pregnant, and I carry a fan around with my in handbag.
How is everyone today? I have had the worst R-A-G-E! Honestly, I could take out a commuter or two.
This man who was sitting next to me, was doing the typical man thing, and opening his legs super wide, because he had such a huge ding dong *eye roll* - and taking up MY shoulder space too. I silently fumed and thought at any minute I would burst into tears! Pregnancy is so much fun!!!
Then I messaged DW to tell her my b00bies didn't hurt as much and I think we should go for another scan because I'm now worried. That will be one a week so far since I found out I was pregnant! I think I realise how ridiculous I am sounding, and perhaps I should really try to relax a little more.
Ohhh! I had a dream about breastfeeding a baby last night! A little girl, I think. My second dream about a girl.
<< Officially a bit of a mess!
I can't believe two of you have your 12 weeks scans this Thursday, you mut be SOOO excited! Thats when they really looks like babies, right?! Gosh - it'll be dead quiet in here without you both!

If your looking for pillows the Summer Infant Ultimate Body pillow is amazing, even my OH uses it lol and you can use it for the baby when the baby is here too

I do love a pillow! DW says there won't be any room left for her in the bed if I keep buying pillows.
Um, that's my plan!!Baby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0 -

One thing I can guarantee is that your symptoms (and you won't have all of them, and they won't be as bad as someone else's) will come and go when they please! My boobs grew v. quickly right at the start (before I knew I was pregnant) and got v. tender, then shrunk again, and are now expanding again (but nowhere near as tender as they were at first). Luckily I'm far enough along now that I can feel baby move (started for me at about 20 weeks) and that's the best reassurance you can have, but it sucks until then where some days you really won't feel any different to normal.0 -
9+3 and still no booking appt or scan appt for me
Think I'll ring them at lunchtime see if I can hurry things along!0 -

Hi
Is there any chance I can join in please?
I am a little shell shocked at the moment and could do with moral support.
Started trying for a baby this month after my period ended on 20th July, and did a pregnancy test yesterday which stated 1-2 weeks pregnant!:eek:
Although I am delighted (this will be my 4th child) I had expected it to take a longer (first month with all of them) due to the fact I am a little older now
I have also started a new job 2 months ago, so am feeling really guilty about that and 2 of my close friends have had miscarriages in the past fortnight, so for these reasons will be telling nobody (Oh knows obviously...) until at least 12 weeks.
Unfortunately (as with 2 of my other pregnancies - had hyperemesis ) I have started feeling very sick and was sick this morning. How on earth will I hide this from everyone???
I know its early days yet ( from my dates I will be 3 weeks tomorrow?) but have got a hundred and one worries going through my mind!!!......And I know my hormones won't be helping either...
Sorry for the moaning post when it should be a happy one. I promise to cheer up as soon as I have got my head round it all0 -
Hi Chonorla and welcome!
Congratulations! I am no expert with dates, but if your period is due tomorrow, doesnt that make you 4 weeks pregnant, tomorrow? Perhaps someone else can clarify! Oh wait - I just re-read - you must ovulate SUPER early then? How long are your cycles??
I had a friend who also suffered with hyperemesis, she lived on Calipso (sp?) lollies her entire pregnancy. Poor you - that must be utterly miserable
Welcome though, I'll add you to the list once we have some clarity with your dates!Baby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0 -
I dont know if anybody remembers, but I had a friend who was staying with me, who discovered she was pregnant - she went back home to tell the father, who was completely unsupportive.
Now it turns out she needs to come back to have a termination here in the UK, and stay with me. She wants ME to liaise with the clinic and take her there.
I want to be supportive, and I know she has no other option of anywhere else to stay/no money/etc etc... but I'm finding this all VERY stressful, especially right now being pregnant.Baby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0
