Hello All
Would like to be added to the list but have no idea how far gone I am. I know its early and in first tri but had a lot of probs with my periods and just stopped noticing when they came. So maybe last period was may? Anyway I got for a dating scan on Wednesday so will update when I know where I am.
Anyway, reason for wanting to join is needing some moral support - I've only told close family and 2 close friends, but not sure if anyone else is like this - little freaked out. I have all day sickness - from the moment I open my eyes to closing them. I work early shifts so at 7am I'm sick before I leave for work and spend a good two hours being sick at work and then just feel rubbish all day! I'm dead on my feet when I get home and need a nap then I'm dead on my feet by 11pm so again need sleep. My hormones are all over the place and I spend nights blubbering like I am greiving a death!! My OH can't understand it and I feel like I am ruining the experience for him!
I'm sorry for the moan but everyone I talk to says "it will pass" which is great! But I need the support now - I feel like a crap mum to be because I feel I'm expected to be over the moon 24-7 but obviously feeling like this I feel dreadful and it's hard to have such happiness with my head down the loo.
I am alone?Thanks in advance

hugs 2b - sounds like you're really going through the mill at the moment. Hopefully your guests leave soon and you and your DW can have some quality time together. I don't know how you should handle your friend re the termination; a very difficult situation. This may sound harsh, but you have to put you and bubs first:o
Welcome all the newbies - that list is getting very long, how exciting:D
Now, can someome please tell me to stop worrying. Went to the docs today with stomach pain, thought it might be another water infection; it's not. She has made me an appointment at EPAU for a scan on Weds:(. Scared now.

Mrshaworth2b- your certainly not alone. I have felt miserable so far this pregnancy because of how ill I have been feeling. I really dont handle feeling ill at the best of times and its even harder when your not 'ill' as such, just pregnant. All I can think about at the moment is feeling better as it is such hard work to feel so bad everyday and I admire you for being able to work at the same time. I know I couldn't! I can't wait to feel normalish again and finally start to enjoy the prospect of having another baby.0

I'm so glad I am not the only one. You start to doubt yourself when people are expecting you to be over the moon. I can tell my OH is getting bored of me telling him I feel so crappy but I just can't wait till I'm really excited and more energetic. But this is my first pregnancy and I keep telling myself to relax and enjoy it lol.
Thanks for making me feel normal!Newly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!0 -

xx
Can I be added to this please? I am 7+4 going by lmp
Haven't been on here for over a week, it moves sooo fast lol massive congrats to everyone joining
I started off feeling great, I now feel exhausted and ill 24/7, not actually being sick though which is a relief!
I have also had really itchy and sore nipples between 6 and 7 weeks which drove me mad:eek:
Philly on toast or bagels has been my tummy settlerand plenty of orange juice to help absorb the iron (i take Florad*x daily even when not preggo, every little helps hey)
I shall be phoning the docs in the morning, i have to see the doc to be referred to midwife! bit of a pain it being the summer hols, will need to find a sitter for my two monkeys as i don't want them knowing what mummy's got in her tum just yet, a pregnancy is a long time for children to wait to meet baby and it's early days, i would hate to have to explain it to them if it all went wrong!
For anyone not having your first baby, when did you tell your older child/ren you were having another baby?
I am now off to catch up on the last few pagesx

Wah, 2b, that link could have been written about me. I am soooooo angry on and off with everything and everyone at the moment, I feel like I'm going crazy! Most of the time, I don't recognise myself as while I can be stroppy at times, I am mostly pretty laid back..
Hope you are feeling better today Hun xx
Hope everyone else is feeling ok too, I am off to a wedding and trying not to puke, which could prove interesting!
Welcome to the newbiesand congrats!
And I hope everyone else0 -
Pressed send too soon...

Countrybum - if it is any help - I had stomach pains in the early days of all of my pregnancies and also light bleeding, all between 7-14 weeks. I had early scans with all 3 of them and everything was ok - I went on to give birth to 3 large healthy babies!
Easier said than done, but try not to worry. Being pregnant, especially in the earlier days, puts a lot of strain on our bodies because of all the changes (emotionally and physically) and think sometimes we have niggles that are just unexplained! I am sure everything will be fine.
Mumof2Beasties - I have 3 other children and am unsure of when I will be telling them. My eldest is 14 so he will probably be the first to know - but not sure about the other two who are nearly 3 and 4 years old.
So I think, for a number of reasons I will probably tell my eldest around ten weeks but wait until I have seen my midwife and had the scan before I tell the smallest two. As you said, just in case it doesn't go to plan.
As for the overwhelming tiredness and sickness - both mine are picking up at alarming speed. Sick at eleven last night and again this morning.Currently sat on the sofa, wondering if I dare move again.....

Morning ladies!!!
I'm in a great mood today, I have discovered rich tea biscuits! THE cure for my morning sickness (well I say morning...). I eat a bisuit and 10 minutes later i'm sorted. I didn't start off in a good mood, I brushed my teeth and couldnt stop gaggingbut 1 biscuit later and i'm in business
.
2b I hope you're better today x
Mumof2beasties I hear the itchy nipple thing! Thats why I took my hpt in the first place. It is the most annoying sensation ever, especially at work where its not really appropriate to be scratching away

Back from my gp and all seems to be well. My hcg level went from 110 to 390 which was in line with my dates so that's it now untill I hear from a midwife and who knows how many weeks away that will be!0
