Less than 12 weeks pregnant club! 2

Hell ladies
thanks for your replies. I'll prob tell work after the first scan. I live on west Wales in an area where doctors suegeoies are only open 9_5, don't think they expect anyone to work. The times for the first appointment are apparently between 10 and 12!
I'll phone back who ever it was who called me yesterDay at lunch and see what they say!

Hope you can sort something out Bexm regarding the appt!

Went for my midwife appt yesterday, lovely lady who went through everything and gave me the booklet to fill in with family health history etc. Now got to sit and wait for the scan at 13 weeks (another 6 weeks!) Seems a bit more real now after having the appt yesterday!

Morning all!

Finally got rid of my house guest, only to pick up our two new ones this morning! I think these two will be much less stressful and DW is under strict instructions to not expect me to do too much, I wont be doing all touristy things with them, I need to rest... I think she got the message now!

Had the most BIZARRE dream last night. I gave birth to a BIG baby girl (looked about 8 months old), looked nothing like me - curly dark hair, dark Mediterranean skin (I'm blonde and pale skinned!). She was talking up a storm! And I managed to lose her in this big house/harvester restaurant! This women who had found her, wanted me to pay her money for her time spent looking after her and I threw the receipt/invoice she gave me down in disgust and said 'You do know I only gave birth a few hours ago'.....

Talk about a load of anxieties! Anybody else had any weird dreams?

I had a weird dream over the weekend that i had just got married to Rob Pattinson and he was a wizard vampire who gave me an antique wedding ring which turned out to be linked to some dead old man who once gave it to his wife. I had 2 babies i was trying to protect and the ring connected to the old man who helped me save the babies from the volturi type gang who were hunting me down while we were on honeymoon on a cruise ship! Got to be the weirdest dream i've ever had and no idea if it was pregnancy related cos i had it before i even found out!

Weird dreams are most certainly a theme while pregnant. Or more vivid ones. Get your OHs used to being in the dog-box when you wake up from one which he's done something nasty in Mine got slapped in a dream two nights back (he deserved it!)

Nice to hear some lovely scan updates, I had another one on Monday due to spotting last week (I would like to insert a comment here about my very lovely GP's and EPU staff just so you know there are some nice ones out there!). Beany is fine, in the right place with a nice strong heartbeat and had grown to over 20mm from 8 a few weeks ago. My EPU scan you every two weeks if you have had bleeds so I now get an 11 and 12 week scan

I'm now 9 weeks with a little bump so wishing the weeks away whilst my scan dates get nearer so I can tell people!

has yout tummy gone hard then? I'm trying to imagine what its like to have a little bump *impatient*

If you have a bit extra on your tum/are cuddly - does that go hard and make a bump too?

Had my scan today, very wiggly baby is measuring 12 weeks today. I had to roll on my sides to try and get baby to move position so the sonographer could take some measurments. Baby due 13th Feb!

i had to have the hcg level blood test today and again in 48hours to confirm that my levels are increasing after the bleeding i had before i got my bfp. I will see the doctor for the results on tuesday so it's a waiting game until then the gp said not to bother with urine tests again as they will probably still say yes even though my hcg levels may be dropping. Bleeding has stopped now though so fingers crossed all is ok.
