    Hi all :hello:

I went to the doctor's last week and saw the midwife on Monday. According to them I'm currently 8 weeks and 2 days but I don't think I'm as far on as that. Should get my scan hopefully the last week of August :)

On a slightly negative note my blood pressure was way up last week and on Monday - had an emergency appointment with Dr on Tuesday and he has signed me off work due to stress for 2 weeks. Work has been incredibly difficult and stressful recently and it's only going to get worse :(

On the plus side I saw Dr again today and my blood pressure has gone down to a more normal level. It's amazing what 2 days off work does :rotfl: Dr doesn't want me to go to work for a while so he's going to sign me off for longer. And thanks to my lovely husband and son I am getting plenty of rest and relaxation :)

KateLiana27 - I found that if I eat something like toast later on in the morning ie 10am, I don't feel or am sick. Plain tea biscuits and camomile tea seem to help me. I don't seem to be as bad atm but I keep getting horrible heartburn :( bad baby lol

Evening all. Hope everyone is well. Sickness now kicking in properly which I am glad of in a way because I was getting a bit worried about the lack of symptoms. I have a midwife appointment at my doctors tomorrow as she likes to see everyone before 10 weeks for a 'meet and greet' as she called it. She said she just wanted to introduce herself and see if I had any questions which is nice. Had my booking in scan appt through too for the 14 September which seems ages away! Will be 12 weeks then so counting down the days.

Have a nice night everyone. x

My morning sickness didn't really kick in until I was 8-9weeks. Before then I felt randomly queasy a few times, but that was it. I was then *really* sick almost every day until I was about 16 weeks, and still get days when I can't keep anything down :o DH kept teasing me that I'd spend the first weeks worrying about not being sick enough!

:D:D That last part made me laugh! Sorry you still suffer occasionally with it though.

I was worried about having not MS, but I now know two other women who are also pregnant, both ahead of me slightly (2.5 weeks and 4 weeks) and neither of them have it either!

I've had a background feeling of nausea since I was 6ish weeks and every few hours, I feel acutely nauseated, to the point that I can't move, then it subsides. The problem is there's no pattern to it- I can feel ok one minute and floored by it the next.

My appetite is odd too. I tend to feel empty, but not hungry and I can never decide what I fancy, so I tend to give up. Last night I had rice with melted butter stirred through, as that was all I could face. I really do want to start to eat more healthily though...
