lol, one thing that i will say if you are planning on another baby ever, make sure you buy neutral colours on the big reusable things, highchairs, moses basket, pushchairs, toys as soon as i found out DD was going to be a girl i bought everything pink, luckily my sister has just had a little girl so i have gave her all the pink stuff. I could of used them for DS but i felt a bit bad lol.0

If you get them at a good enough price and then know you will do the work involved in selling them on you could buy them gender specific. That's what friends of ours done!:jBaby Boy born December 20120 -

Of course what ever works best for you0 -
just had a mini meltdown because I couldn't have taco's for my tea, OH couldn't believe it when I started crying

Tattoo :cuddle: I'm like that (again) today. OH isn't helping much as he keeps telling me to "stop letting things get to you". Agghhhhhhhh does he think I'm being an emotional mess on purpose?
To cap it all, I am suffering from a severe care of CBA
Ze rabbit is home tho, with his leg in a splint and is back with his
beloved. I am only another £200 poorer, compared to the 1k (or the 3.5k I was originally quoted)0 -
Oh Millie, thats something, hope your wabbit recovers well!
tattoo - sorry you coudln't have tacos, I think its completely irrational you can't and you should have them!
DW and I went to the most amazing BBQ place today, not a stitch on real texan BBQ (DW is Texan!) - but as close as you can get in the UK, it was good. I ate too much and nearly threw up on the way home.
I've managed to avoid buying anything today, as much as I have been desperate too!

Oh - had a row in the restaurant with DW because she hadn't offered to give up drinking, in solidarity with me. Not that I would make her, but because she didn't offer!Baby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0

It is lovely to buy things for the baby if the cot is just sat in the corner taunting me, along with the moses basket, baby swing, bouncer lol they arnt going to be used for about ( 19 weeks 1day now i usually go over, so lets say) 22/23 weeksOh - had a row in the restaurant with DW because she hadn't offered to give up drinking, in solidarity with me. lmao awwww poor woman doent know if shes coming or going haha, me and OH drink once in a blue moon, before i fell pregnant we were out everynight, i must admit i much prefare my life now, even if i will of spent 3 of the last 5 summers pregnant lol.0 -
Re. Drinking, I announced to OH yesterday that I wasn't missing it and might just never drink again. Of course this was the pregnancy hormones talking and at the earliest opportunity I shall be pouring a glass of red and hoping like hell that he has forgotten that little statement....
He did offer to not drink around me, like I'm some sort of raging alcoholic. I told him I didn't mind, but we are going to a wedding next week and I am likely to be annoyed by the silly drunk people...
I soooooo want to go out and buy stuff. Have made a couple of cheeky purchases after I had the early scan, but not buying anything major yet. No harm in looking though, eh?0 -
That what I think Millie, window shopping is A OK!
So I had my follow up scan with the head sonographer today. She was lovely and it was a totally different lovely experience.
Baby has grown to 7.4mm (I was worried about the size when we had the scan last Thursday, when it was only 2.4mm) - but it has done as it has supposed to do and grown 1mm per day! AND there was a lovely strong heartbeat. All looks good!! I also have some piccies!
I dont need to go back now until my 12 weeks scan (fingers crossed, I won't anyway!) - which seems ages away!
The head sonographer did tell me off the record that she has had complaints about this woman (who is agency staff) and that she is so short staffed she has to take who she can get, and perhaps it was a cultural thing (her being homophobic). I actually felt a bit sorry for the head lady!
Anyway - onwards and upwards, can't let that one thing blight this pregnancy!
Hope everyone is OK xxBaby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0
