Urgh, I am SO BL00DY irritable!!!!!!!

I just deleted someone from FB <<<<Deactivate FB its the root of all evil!

worried about seeing the other woman who I made a formal complaint about! <<<<Please dont worry about this she will see tens of women everyday and wont remember you, and if she does remember you she should be ashamed of herself the daft old bint.

When will the worrying end?! I just want to be able to enjoy this!<<<< You can start to enjoy it now, just CALM DOWN, enjoy being symptomless, enjoy not being the size of a house, enjoy no stretchmarks, you and DW need to enjoy this time together make the most of it now because when the bambino comes everything will be different not bad, just things change

:D Dont take this as me being nasty am really not, just chill, and you can put me on ignore if it will make you feel better lol

Once bubs arrives the worrying gets 100 times worse! :D

I definitely second the point of try and start enjoying everything now. It is tough but it is one of the things I regret when I was pregnant with my first. Now i wish I had relaxed and enjoyed everything as much as possible because once they arrive life changes so much more than you could ever have imagined.

I should probably take my own advice. I'm the biggest worrier there is!:rotfl:

We have a (non bio) 4 year old, so I know how much life changes!

I do need to relax, I think I will listen to my hypno CD.

Sorry everyone, I am off to bang my own head against a wall! Thank you for the advice xx

2b, if it helps, I have been tearful, irrational and stroppy today and have been taking every little thing to heart! And I could happily tell everyone to f*** off!

I think I'm going to do the world a favour and have an early night, tomorrow is a whole new day to be stroppy and irrational!!

Big hugs for the scan stuff. I hope the woman has been challenged and is reflecting on her behaviour xx
  • 6 weeks tomorrow and its my first.
I would love a bit of advice on how you all deal with the symptoms.
I have really bad nausea all day but not actually been sick. Awful wind stomach ache and I am more exhausted than I could imagine most of the time. In short I feel awful, if I felt like this without being pregnant I would be off sick from work. I can cope with the symptoms individually but all together I just feel I cant cope with them and end up a blubbing wreck.

How does everyone deal with all this? All I want to do is curl up and hide at home for the next couple of months (until hopefully all this stops)

Talulah, I wish I had some advice for you - but dont want to read and run, I hope the most experienced ladies can help you out xx

AFM, I woke up with the most astonishly back pain this morning. Doesnt feel like cramps, more like it's in the bones. Has anybody else had anything similar and know what it could be - if it is even pregnancy related?

I forgot to mention this the other day, along with irritable and irrational, I've been a walking horn dog! Which is a pretty bizarre mix!! My poor DW doesn know if she is coming or going!

    Happy Monday all!

    Hi everyone!

Think I'm 8+3 today, still no booking appt or scan date.

Totally agree with everyone about being completely irrational! I have no patience and feel like I hate everyone at the mo! I'm trying to keep a lid on it but i'm seething inside lol.

Today I woke up fat! All of my trousers are suddenly seriously tight at the waist and give me a real muffin top when I button them up . It's not a bump, it's just fat!! Anyone else have this problem? It's far to early for maternity clothes, but I look really awful with this 'overhang' lol

Good luck for scan tomo 2b

Not much to do with the tiredness unfortunately unless you can nap. I literally almost fell asleep at my desk twice.
For the nausea, mine was better if I was actually eating. So I spent an awful lot of time at my desk eating - nothing exciting, just things like those plain sainsbury's hula hoop type chips and things. I didn't have stomach ache though, but ginger may help (ginger beer, perhaps). Although I threw mine up one day and have been averse to it ever since :D

I agree with this, if its morning sickness take something to bed the night before, if its during the day take a snack with you :)

2b - enjoy the walking horn dog while it lasts ;) OH is waiting for mine to kick in, but he runs the risk of having his bits chopped off if he comes near me at the moment ;)
