Hi ladies, I am saying a timid hello to you all, I had my BFP yesterday showing 1-2 on digital, tried again with fmu this morning and got 2-3 weeks! I haven't been to doctor yet (hence the timid hello) but I hope I can maybe officially join you this coming week!
Maybe it's something else but I am sooooo tired and I just knew form about a week ago that I was pg. fingers crossed its a sticky bean xxSaving money like a trouper...0 -
Hello dundeediva!
We're probably just about the same! (I got 1-2 weeks on the digital a week ago). I bought a pack of two - might use it this weekend. I have developed an unhealthy addiction to peeing on things.

I'm glad I'm not the only one with loads of CM.
It's really funny how we had loads of sex to try and get pregnant and as soon as it happens I'm not interested, gone off it totally
What's everyones plans for today? we are going down the inlaws for a BBQ, don't fancy burgers today, that was yesterdays craving :rotfl:0 -
Morning ladies, hope everyone is OK and not too much puking!
I think I mentioned before I had a friend staying with us - who discovered last Thursday she is pregnant (we reckon she is max. 11 weeks) - anyway as horrid as this sounds, I really need her to leave by Thursday. I am so worried about the scan, that I know I won't want to be around anybody pregnant if its not good news....
So am fretting, and fretting and fretting about asking her to go (she is in a bit of a bad situation herself at the moment too, to add to it all) and the scan next week.
My b00bies are definitely getting more sore these days too... so hoping thats a good sign!
Off to watch DW dismantle a wardrobe then enjoy the sunshine at a friend BBQ! I may even swing by the supermarket and invest in some non alcoholic beer!

Dont worry about it, you have put her up for a while which is really good of you and ur partner, i would say on monday go with her to local council, tell them she is homeless (she will be if you tell her to leave) and they should point her in the right direction of a hostal/B&B till a flat or something will come up for her to live in.
Remember kicking her out is not cutting off the friendship , its giving her a kick in the right direction for her getting somewhere to live for when her baby arrives.
Have a nice day0 -
Morning all, hope you are all getting this gorgeous sun in your part are the country.
Went food shopping this morning which was interesting as felt rough all the way round so god knows what we have ended up buying - it's like when you go shopping with a hangover and come home with nothing but 12 litres of coke!
Have a good day everyone.x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

penguin you are doing better than me, my hubs has been doing the shopping for weeks, long periods in a supermarket = green me!!!
I got up this morning to a hard tummy!!! I still can pass it off as fat but its now hard and more bump than bloat and fat! Quite weird lol!Crafting for 2009 items doneOne patchwork blanket, two neck supports, one tea cosy, one knitted bunny, one knitted egg!0 -
2b, thinking of you, I am sure your friend will understand and you really need to put you and your little family first right now x
Hmm supermarket shops- I have been buying some rather odd things, well odd for me. My trolley has been rather "carby", as has my diet. I've gone right off salad and anything remotely healthy. Oops.
I have a bit of a thing for Heinz tomato soup at the moment too. I do wish baba would develop a more sophisticated palate
Popped into mothercare world today while I was out. Holy moley, it's like a different world!! I must have looked a bit bewildered as an assistant came over and enquired as to whether I was ok, with a slightly concerned look..... Lots of ladies with bumps looking knowledgable...I don't have enough of a bump yet0 -
ooo tinksy, how exciting! How many weeks are you?
Millie - I am deffo the same re carbs. Have been craving pasta and stodgy food for sure!!
lozzy, thanks for the advise. She's american, and her situ is massively complicated, I dont think she would be entitled to any help here, sadly.
I tried some non alcoholic beer today and it was LOVELY! Plus it meant nobody questioned while I was drinking.
I have a good friend with an 8 month old, and some advice she gave me was to double up on expensive things you buy each month shopping (washing detergent/fabric conditioner/baby wipes/dishwasher tablets/shampoo etc) over the next 9 months - so that you build a stockpile for when you are on maternity pay. I started this month!
Thought that was great advise to share xBaby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0 -
Also - how long do the cramps last for?
I had one today that was particularly bad, really stopped me in my tracks - does anybody else get a super painful one occasionally?
