Completely normal 2b, my midwife at my booking in appointment told OH I could kill him and get away with it by using hormones as an excuse

    Evening all

My symptoms seem to have disappeared the last couple of days, hoping its not a bad sign ( I know changes in symptoms are normal). I am thinking it might be because I've had a week to get used to the idea now, and maybe some of the symptoms last weekend were more shock/in my head! Who knows! No bleeding or cramps so probably just worrying about nothing. Fingers crossed

    Afternoon all,

Welcome to the newbies, forgive me - my brain is bit broken today and I'm being useless with names.

Just had a stupid pointless row with my DW, that ended up with me crying my eyes out and napping. I feel like I desperately needed both though!!

I meant to ask the other day, the form for the free prescriptions etc, do you get that immediately - or do you have to wait for a scan to confirm the pregnancy? My doctor seemed to think it was post scan - but that doesn't make any sense to me, what if I needed something now for the pregnancy?

I'm going to try to go to an early pregnancy unit for a scan, I suffered a miscarriage (back in 1997, twins), but it was only picked up when they couldn't find either of their heartbeats - I didn't bleed, so feeling incredibly nervous about the same happening.

    2b xx

I got mine at 7 weeks when I first saw a midwife but it varies from practice to practice, there is info here about it http://www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/1644.aspx

Symptoms come and go, it's normal x

I used to sleep with a pillow between my legs and 1 under my bump. I got so used to it I still sleep like that now!

Really good day but a long one. Thomas has a hypo plastic thumb but thankfully no need for surgery yet. Off to bed now this new baby is zapping my energy and T will wake soon.

11 weeks today and apparently it's the size of a lime now! That seems rather big to me!

I know what you mean. I've been feeling relatively normal these last few days and been eating again; although I'm very glad of this, it also worries me!

Hopefully I'll have my scan soon (am 9+3 today) and will be reassured!

Well, the sun is shining here in sunny Yorkshire so may even venture out and tackle the forest that is the garden.

Hope the sun is shining on you all today and you're doing good.
