What do people think about hair colouring in first trimester? Is it OK, or not? (I'm not even 5 weeks yet!)x
There's a chance you may be more sensitive than normal/react differently to the dye, so you should make sure to do a patch test. Chance of anything getting through to baby is negligible though. If you're really worried you can go for highlights where nothing touches the scalpLittle monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -

Hi, hope you are all well, and hope those of you with ms/illnesses feel better soon
I am now 4+4 and apart from being rally tired i feel ok!
I did have a nasty migraine this morning, visual, so squigly lines and blind spots along with pain in my eyesI suffer fairly regularily with them but I remember having one at this stage with my daughter so guess its my hormones messing around a bit as I avoid things that trigger them!
I still had to take the kids to school myself, luckily its a few mins walk away, them came home and colapsed on the sofa for a few hours befoe getting DD at half 11.
I'm still trying not to get too excited as i had a very early misc at 5 weeks a year and a half ago, when we weren't trying, so paranoid its going to happen again. I think once i pass 5 weeks i may feel a bit more relaxed!
Sorry for the long post, we havn't told anyone so its nice just to let it all out
Re finding out the sex, i didnt with my older two, and i wont with this one, i love the surprise!
Also anyone else on here facing a 3rd c-section? Had pre-eclampsia and a prem baby via section, then a failed vbac due to a very large second baby, think it will be a planned c-section this time, and am at higher risk of pre-eclampsia again as i had it before and also have a new partner Eeek too much to think about!!

I have been lucky enough to never need one, although there was talk of it during my last pregnancy am sure there will be mention of it during this one too, but I will decline as they sound painful and a have super easy labours  lol0 -

Woo hoo 2b - that's not long to wait till the first scan!
Yes I am using the babycentre app - I won't be impressed if it shrinks to a tomaato size next week - I too think a lime is bigger.
Not impressed with my DH at the mo. He hasn't had a shower since Sat night and is refusing to have one tonight. Ergh. (We're having our bathrooms done so he's have to go up his Mum's but still...)0 -

My 7 week scan is tomorrow. Terrified would be I think how I sum me up right now! Fingers crossed for good news

Tinksy, I can imagine how you are feeling right now, as I was v scared before mine last week. Fingers crossed that all is well x
Zcrat - ban him from the bedroom til he has a shower. Bleugh. Boys smell!
I've just had my first antenatal appt with the GP. It was ok, but rather uneventful, she just went through my family history, medical stuff, etc.
Oh and, despite feeling like a whale (I have put so much weight on around my middle), I have only gained 1kg. I think the fat is re-distributing from somewhere! Either that or muscle!!? is turning to fat. Pah.0
