Oh gosh yes Sequeena, sounds awfully scary x

Thank you both for the info on the dating scan! I wonder if I will get one early as I ovulated around CD60 of the cycle I got pregnant (I effectively skipped a period), and the doc put that date in as my last period! Will see I suppose!!

I even going to be a bit silly and tell the truth, my friend was 4 wks ahead of me when pregnant with dd, she had really bad nausea, everyone kinda felt for her, but because i was having nothing at all or even showing... i felt left out.. so was a bit faking the nauseas and other stuff to get the same treatment.

It was very scary as we kept being told he wouldn't get to 24 weeks... but he did... then 30 weeks, then 34, then 36 and was born at 40+3 :) definitely hoping for a stress free pregnancy this time round!

Lozzy88 I'll be 24 when my little one arrives too!

Had a early scan today at 8 weeks which was nice, saw the midwife yesterday who rang the EPU and got me squeezed in today and got my 12 week scan through today aswell which is on the 14th of August, Couldn't believe how quick it all was! Was so nice to see the heart beat and know everything was ok and got our first scan picture :)

    Hiya Fly dragon fly

was there a reason for your early scan? (i`m very nosey)

i had a early scan with DS but only because i was thought i was 12 weeks and i wasnt i was 8+6 but i didnt get another one till i was 20 weeks!

I love my babys scan pics, when i show DD hers (she 3) she will say "thats not me mammy, thats ...." then name every other baby in the family lol

Tbh no, when i saw the midwife yesterday i told her about my m/c and that this baby was a clomid baby and she was like "we'll see if you can get a early scan to put your mind at rest" which was nice of her as although i didn't say i was worried she knows me enough to know i do worry, so when i went there today the lady asked me some questions about pains etc to which i was honest and said I've had no bleeding just a bit of pain near my pelvis ( i think it also helped that she was my receptionist for fertility doctor so she also understood my worries)

And my son was like that today with the scan picture, he saw his one for the first time the other day and when he saw this babies one he went there's the baby but it's smaller than me in my scan, he's 7 so it's really exciting for him :) x

How lovely she sounds! Hopefully you won't have her often and you'll have some lovely midwife!

My midwife was the one i had with my first son and was a teen midwife ( specialising not super young) and then run the young parents club alongside being a midwife so she saw me for about 3 years after having my first son which is why i requested her with this pregnancy because although no longer a teen i knew she would be on my wave length :)
