Glad baby is in the right position sparkle I've been trying to work out what body parts are where but I think Im failing dismally!
Sparkle & Apricot - I've also been trying to figure out what position baby is. All's I know for sure is that she prefer the right hand side of my belly to the left! Constantly feels like she's trying to break through! I suppose it could be a bum or head up at the mo - I really have no clue which part is what.
I'd try and figure it out more, but sometimes a prod in the wrong place almost makes me wee!
6 weeks left at work for me:heart2: Mummy to one gorgeous little girl :heart2:0 -
Hi ladies, interesting banter today again!
...
As of Monday I have 4 more weeks at work to go, scary stuff...
Midwife app today went well, baby is measuring ok and turns out he is head down, when I thought he was head up... it's his feet I can feel, and what I thought was his head is his little bum!Glad baby is in the right position sparkle I've been trying to work out what body parts are where but I think Im failing dismally!
yay for 4 weeks left - me too!
4 weeks left for me too! though technically 6 as im having 2 weeks holiday before maternity leave starts.

You could try prunes, syrup of figs, or fresh juice... might work and is fine in pregnancy.
Did you see the fat pic of fat me yesterday? Are you that big? (bear in mind the bajooblies are an F!)
I did see your picture. I'm not as big as you are but this is my first. One of my really good friends has a really similar sized bump to you, if not a bit bigger. She is due on the 14 Sept and her little one will be 14 months old then. She says her bump is much bigger than mine as her muscle were still loose from having her little girl not long ago.
Thanks for the constipation suggestions0 -
SVSandy - have you tried apricots / apples / porridge / figs? There's always bran flakes etc but these can upset your tummy if you are not used to them I think.
Apricot, yes definately, here's to 4 weeks - 19 working days inc the bank holiday, but I also have 4 days still to take so it's only 15 more working days for me
Smiley / LabLover - I know, it's so strange... midwife was prodding quite hard, I cna't bring myself to do thatOnly other person that can touch me (gently) is hubby and well meaning friends
Baby prefers to have bum situated under my right boob, I tell hubby little one is on the right as normally hubby sits on my right on the sofa so I reckon bubs wants to be close to daddy:):)

Sparkle I've been eating loads of fruit recently so though that might keep me regular but no joy. I'll pop to the chemist after work and get something.0

SV - I know the docs say 5 a day and all that, you would think it helps, but i can honestly say, if I eat too much, I can't go!
Everyones different, but Kiwi fruit is always a winner for me.
I have my Midwife apt next week, so no doubt I'll get to know if baby is pointing north or south.
After 32 week apt, how often are the appointments after that? Another 4 weeks?:heart2: Mummy to one gorgeous little girl :heart2:0 -

Oh I know my little guy is head up! He pushes his head so far forward that I think hes gonna come through! Can totally feel it lol its so very weird. Im not sure which is worse though, his head being up at my lungs or his feet since he kicks so much.. I think Im ok with it being his head for now lol! He is always on my right side too, never really goes far left, strangely.:j0 -

I was about this size with my first too!!! I have only ever had smaller bumps twice.. DS3 who was tiny at 3lb 10 and I was possibly a little smaller with Squeak..
I have no muscle tone at all, in fact my muscles are so bad I was going for surgery on them until I got pregnant with Squeak and it had to be postponed. I have a huge umbilical hernia thanks to he sonographer which is incredibly sore too.
oh.. and the hospital appt needs cancelling still.. no rush, it isn't for 3 or 4 weeks.. but I don't want anyone who needs one to go without because I have one I'm not going to.. so considerate lolLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
anyone who is feeling bad about their stretch marks have a we read at this, i was all teary eyed when i finished
reading it.
A mark for every breath you took, every blink, every sleepy yawn. One for every time you sucked your thumb, waved hello, closed your eyes and slept in the most perfect darkness. One for every time you had the hiccups. One for every dream you dreamed within me. It isn’t very pretty anymore. Some may even think it ugly. That’s OK. It was your home. It’s where I first grew to love you, where I lay my hand as I dreamed about who you were and who you would be. It held you until my arms could, and for that, I will always find something beautiful in it.
