Sorry a bit off topic but can I just ask if anybody else has developed really bad headaches during pregnancy? Mine have got to the point where they are almost constant and are affecting my vision really badly :(

It can be a sign of high BP.. best to be safe.. go get a speedy check.. if you nip to the GP surgery the nurse can do it and will sneak you in to the GP if needs be.. :D

I went through a stage of getting a few a week, but that seems to have stopped. I am prone to migraines, but thankfully have only had maybe two since falling pg. But nothing that affected my vision.

I'd mention this to your midwife / doctor to have a quick check up.

    Hi Ladies,

What are you all taking/doing to help relieve constipation. I am so uncomfortable and feel so bloated. I haven't 'been' since Sunday night which is surely unhealthy!

I had this problem early on i didnt go for nearly 5 weeks and believe me it was agony!!!!! i tried lactulose, tablets and in the end enemas, the enemas where the only thing that worked, it was such a relief it got the point where I could hardly walk and was sobbing on the phone to the doctors receptionist :o

thankfully this is no longer a problem :D

i went to my gp with heartburn and also mentioned my sore head, she took my BP which was fine, and she said that there are lots of reasons you can develop headaches in pregnancy, even the fact that we have so much more blood pumping round our bodies.
best to go get checked anyway
