Gosh ladies, those of you still suffering from MS are worrying me as I thought it only really lasted the first semester... I'm a relative newbie at 11 weeks, but have constant nausea. I've only thrown up about 4 times in the last 4-5 weeks since MS started, but the sicky feeling is really getting me down. I'm so so so hoping it disappears soon........ Take it easy won't you.

Don't worry too much about it Blue Monkey as I think that the number of us here is a statistical anomaly :D. At least according to one of the consultants in charge of my care anyway (she is internationally respected and publishes regularly!) and I totally believe her. If you are worried about it check with your mum how she was during pregnancy as although it is not an absolute it will give you an indication of the likelihood of it happening to you. :o. Both my mother and my maternal grandmother suffered from ms for the entire duration of pregnancy so my chances were always quite high but if yours didn't then it will be far less likely but unfortunately not impossible for it to happen to you. :o

Thanks - haven't told her yet - will do next Tuesday after my scan :T and hopefully MS would've gone by then anyway! Patience is a virtue I'm really lacking....

Fluffy labour vibes to you and hope wrists cooperate if bubs decides to come!

my pills say take 3 per day and my blood level was 109, not sure if that's low enough for 3 tabs per day but I guess I trust what's written on there? Will only take 2 a day from now.

Blue Monkey welcome, not sure if I had said hello yet!

Thought others may find this link useful for a free sleeping guide for baby:

Had been too tired to DTD this week but last night we did and it was really great, used pillows to prop up OH as I prefer being on top :D... anyone used to being on top found luck with other positions?

MrS made pancakes this morning, had them with a fried egg on the side and also banana slices and toffee fudge sauce, yum yum...

I agree with this. Ive found out my mum had a bad pregnancy with my brother, miscarriage scares, very bad sickness etc. She said it was easier with us girls. Im having a boy and have had the bad sickness, no scares thankfully. So I think we do tend to carry like our mothers did. She says she just doesnt seem to be able to carry boys as well as when carrying girls.

Have been having a mass tidy in this house. We have our inspection coming up so need it to be decent and the spare room just is not decent lol. Cleared some junk from cupboards so I can put more in thre :o Hoping I can get it finished today but I doubt it! Actually I should get on with it rather than sitting here on MSE :D

Bella I am not so sure about the always being right thing especially since I have a 2 year old who constantly tells me I am a silly old mum every time I don't agree with him! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Also people may have to start taking me seriously if I was always right and I am not sure that I could cope with that! :o

Fluffy are your wrists up to us wishing you labour vibes yet or do you need a few more days? :o. Sorry just want to check first. :o

Hope you are fully recovered now Digital and getting to enjoy being a mummy. :D

Thanks hun :) Yes being a mummy is great. Can't believe I created something so beautiful :o

SPD is almost gone, still get some soreness. Got physio next month so hopefully it will go completely then. Bliss to be able to walk about. Been round Tescos several times now - fantastic :rotfl: Have stitches though as I had a 3rd degree tear, so still quite sore in that area :o

Hello ladies :) haven't had chance to get on the laptop for the past 3 days. I've had my date come through for my dating scan-it's on tuesday :) My letter states it'll be with the consultant and his team-so no doubt i'll get asked a load more questions regarding my blood pressure, meds and so on. I'm feeling a bit nervous about it to be honest. I thought the scan would be closer to 12 weeks, mine will be almost 10 weeks. What will i expect to see on a scan this early?

    keely.

ps-i had another appointment with my midwife last week, my bp had come down a bit and all my blood/urine tests came back fine :) one less thing to worry about.

Only problem was it was a really long wait until my 20 week anomaly scan! Hope it goes well!

becky sorry to hear you're still here! (In the nicest possible way :D)

I've been on a mission today, have cleaned the entire house, changed beds & made dinner. Off to pick up my niece for a few hours now (am storing up babysitting hours with my sis lol :D)

Apricot if you have energy left my house has not been properly cleaned this week. :(. I did the dusting and vacuuming downstairs as well as cleaning the cloakroom kitchen and utility and kitchen properly but seized up totally half way through doing the staircase and had to shout for oldest boy to turn off and then rescue the vacuum cleaner before it plunged to it's demise. :o. :rotfl::rotfl:
