Its so worth it once your LO is here, i had such a bad time last time thats why its took me 5 years to have another one i'm not havin a great time with this one but just keep focusing on the end result!

People think because some people fly through pregnancy easily that its the same for everyone but its not as we know from personal experience it can be horrible :(

i'm deffo speaking to midwife I seem to be very tired alot but not able to sleep through the night xx

Mancbird sorry your work are being unsupportive, it's bad enough without them making you feel bad... hope you feel better soon.

Angel, I *think* I had baby hiccups after pizza the other night, hubby couldn't feel them but I felt very regular little movements which I can only imagine were hiccups - guess Sweetpea doesn't like pepperoni much...

I am feeling wobbly but hoping tomorrow will be better. I spoke to a pharmacist at Boots this morning and she said the iron tablets could be the culprit, especially as (TMI coming) I mentioned my stools are really dark, almost black... she said I should take 2 a day instead of the recommended 3 then talk to my midwife later this week. Body may have absorbed what it needed in this 1st week then by yesterday have been in overload mode... thought this may help someone else who feels woozy once they start them.

Bella I am of similar mindset and view the problems and complications that pregnancy brings me as a tiny price to pay for my wonderful amazing children :D. Doesn't stop me feeling sorry for myself at times though! :o

Sparkle I have exactly the same side effects as a result of taking iron however my hemoglobin level is still substantially lower than it should be would you have time on Monday to see your practice nurse about rechecking it at all? :o

The pregaday tabs do make stools black- I only have one a day and it still does this. Were you very anaemic- three is loads? They upset my digestive system too- I hadn't vomited until the first day I took one and since then I've had much worse acid reflux and although lots of people say they give them constipation I find the opposite.

Hiccups- just feel like little kicks but because they repeat in the same place they are unmistakeable.

    Congratulatulations rachel :T:T.
Looking forward to some news from fantafan :p

Just popping back on to reassure first time mums to be with SPD that the end result IS worth it (even when they are screaming at 3am!). I had it really bad, probably due to my baby being so big, and don't regret it for one moment. Just keep that in mind, and that it isn't forever ;)

Baby hiccups feel like a regular internal prodding sort of thing. Very rhythmic. My boy had them a lot in the womb, and still gets them now :rotfl:

Bella I am not so sure about the always being right thing especially since I have a 2 year old who constantly tells me I am a silly old mum every time I don't agree with him! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Also people may have to start taking me seriously if I was always right and I am not sure that I could cope with that! :o

Fluffy are your wrists up to us wishing you labour vibes yet or do you need a few more days? :o. Sorry just want to check first. :o

Hope you are fully recovered now Digital and getting to enjoy being a mummy. :D

Right wrist (sprain) fullly recovered. Left wrist (fracture) still strapped up- can't use it to push myself up but can do most things around house (although consultant told me not to use it).

Would be better to be completely healed- can't for instance get onto my hands and knees... but getting so uncomfortable now. Back aching, lower abs sore and my private parts feel bruised and swollen. Plus I am so fed up of going to the loo every five minutes- baby needs to take its head off my bladder :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.
