Oooh lets hope so Hngrymummy! :j:j
Only thing I have told OH to stress, is check me for dilation often (if having epidural....which I will) and no forceps! Looked brutal last night on OBEM *winces*
It is fairly brutal lol I had them with ds2, BUT he got here safely and i survived it which is the main thing-although i did ask for c-section this time. Ended up with emergency c-section with ds 1 after 20 hours of labour and forceps after 16 hours with ds 2-i don't dilate and contract very well-although it is EXTREMELY painful!! even with a drip to speed things up with ds 2 (didn't have it with ds 1 cos he was in distress) i was only having 3 contractions in every 10 mins right at the end, so i obviously don't do labour/birth very well and wanted to avoid all the distress etc this time-consultant wasn't so keen, but i will see him again in a few weeks anyway so will keep trying lol0 -
afternoon ladies, hope everyone is ok.
first day back at work today since friday and its dragged. Been in pain with my legs and a bit uncomfortable in my back support, but hey ho - 30 weeks tomorrow.

It didn't itch actually, I thought it would do but I don't remember feeling it itching.
In all fairness there was probably a lot more to focus on of course lol :rotfl:I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

Sounds nice and straightforward!
Please, if anyone sees me on here tonight - please can you remind me that I have to dig out 3 payslips for my Maternity Allowance application. I need to send it off this week and I ned to photocopy my stuff tomorrow! Please don't let me forget - I have serious baby brain!!! Ta
Don't photocopy your payslips, i think they have to see the originals (i may be wrong) but i know i sent my originals in recorded delivery and wrote on bold for them to come back the same way (although they didn't, they came back standard delivery):)Henry James Born 18/03/2011-11 days late!:)

I have a very active bubs today. She seems to be taking a break from bouncing on my pelvis and is instead using my belly button as a target. :rotfl: It's nice though. Mummy to an amazing little girl0

I reckon we're closer than the hospital think. My original date was 9th June and as I was using CBFM I have a fair idea of when it happened
My tummy is jumping lol. Mummy to an amazing little girl0 -
Hello everyone!!
Been lurking around most of the day but went out for an hour down the seafront for a walk with my aunt. Had a naughty little ice cream too but don't feel too bad about it as it was OBVIOUSLY shared with baby.
Can't remember who mentioned PND earlier but I am so worried about it. I also feel like a really horrible person because I'd rather have baby wiped and stuff before being handed over to me...I just don't like the idea of baby still covered in my insides being put near to my face. I've also always felt uneasy about the thought of a baby breastfeeding, which is why I'm bottle feeding. People keep saying 'Oh it'll be different once you've given birth because you'll love it.' They don't seem to understand that it's not based on whether I love it or not, it's just a matter of preference, I guess. I do worry though that I won't love it or I won't really want it enough, which sounds terrible, but it's something that's been bothering me. Mentioned it to MW as I have a history of depression and she reassured that someone will keep an eye on me at regular appointments afterwards if I want (my guess is it'll be my GP).
