:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: that would make me giggle too - I dont know if they do shave it - mine is fully waxed so they neednt worry lol but i presume they must have to if stitches are needed etc

When I had a CS with DS 19 months ago, he had to go to DH for skin to skin while they stitched me back up.

This was written in my birth plan for him to do if it wasn't possible for me to, and the look of joy on the female staffs faces when he whipped his gown off to do the skin to skin was hilarious! He is an athlete and rugby player and they kept saying looking at his body was their bit of light relief after working on the CS and he could do the skin to skin as long as he wanted to. He was so embarrassed bless him! They said they'd never seen the dad insist on doing the skin to skin before and wished more showed an interest in it (perhaps they wanted to see more male bodies...).

And they dry shaved me with a disposable razor when prepping me for the op, I'd had epidural so couldn't feel it, just wondered what this scraping noise was and saw them doing it.

did it itch afterwards? My pits always itch when I dry shave so I wouldnt want down there itchin lol

It didn't itch actually, I thought it would do but I don't remember feeling it itching.

well, I've been having loads of BH. 7 since 4pm. But nothing regular at all, and as I have no idea what labour feels like, I'm just going to carry on as normal.
