Bella ? I think its you with the delicate lady bits.... Ive only ever had thrush once and thats what happened to me , was all swollen and puffy , was uncomfy to sit down :o LOL. I didnt know that thrush could do that before I had it. I was told to take those thrush tablets. This was before I was pregnant ... so not sure what you can take. I felt like a baboon , lol
Going away for the weekend after work 2moro , so need to pack my bag tonight. Not looking forward to it for some reason... the other couple we are going with are lovely but the cottage is tiny and we will be in each others pockets.Plus ive been struggling to sleep in this heat recently but dont think they will appreciate my midnight naked rambles to the kitchen for juice and then to the loo :o MUST pack PJ'S
Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

LabLover could you get away with packing a light floaty dressing gown type item that you can quickly stick on when you need to get up through the night? :D

Sorry you have such a long wait in your area Pigpen. :(. Even although I moved about quite a bit when I was younger with both my work and OHs work and did get see a lot of other areas and how things are done there I like most people here tend to forget just how good we have it here and how lucky we are. :(:o

Svsandy - my 16w appointment only lasted about 10-15 mins. I got to hear heartbeat but am sure some people on here a while ago didn't so don't want you to be too disappointed if you don't.

+1 carnivorous baby over here. I'm not normally a big meat eater but could happily have steak or some other red meat a few times a week. Has to be the the good stuff too mince just doesn't hit the spot. Hehehe.

High than usual blood supply to that region is normal and can cause swollen veins, extra fluid build up.. a bit of bedroom activity can aggravate it too.. but so can thrush which isn't always associated with symptoms! It may also be a prolapse.

I'd leave it a day or 2 and see if it clears up itself and get it checked if it gets worse or sore or whatever..

This is something I've had with #3 and this one :o

I get it from standing for too long. Like Pigpen says, it's most likely caused by increased blood supply. You can get varicose veins there during pregnancy. I recall taking a peek last time to see what was going on, and it looked very swollen and purple :rotfl: My advice, get your feet up for a bit and let the blood flow back towards your heart. You probably just need to rest more.

Hey ladies...Labour vibes to boldies & to those of us near the top of the list. I still can't believe I'm due on Tuesday,It's flown by!

I'm all ready pretty much. I have everything I could possibly need for the baby. Nursery is all decorated & looking gorgeous :) I just need this baby to put in it! Having said that I know that baby won't be in there much as I like having my babies with me at night for the first few months. Thought I might try & get naps in the day happening in there though. I'm a bit scared about Ruby trying to get the baby out of the moses basket whilst my back is turned! I know she won't be able to do that if I use the cot so we'll see how things go.

I've been up since the crack of dawn...There was a car boot on so I dragged myself & Ruby round there. I am not one of these women who daren't leave the house even though I'm due in 5 days time. I want things to get moving! :D I don't think this one is going to come early or be bang on even...I'm convinced I'm going to be late.

Booked in to see the MW next thurs 2 days after due date & then I'm booked in to see the consultant on the 25th if I've still not had the baby. The decision will be made then if I have to have another section or they will try & induce me. I can't decide which one is the better option!? I had a section with Ruby after 55hrs due to having a back to back labour & failure to progress (5cms) I think I'd just like to get it all over & done with now! :p
Our 1st baby is due 29th December 2007! :rudolf:
I'm hopeful that this get's me out of cooking Christmas dinner!

Baby Ruby arrived after 55 hours of labour & an emergency c section on Christmas Day at 14.41 weighing 6lb 6oz...And yes I did get out of cooking Christmas dinner!!:rotfl:
