In that case I would definitely stick to my plan of canceling and having a lovely family day instead with maybe a BBQ or take away of some description instead if you don't feel up to a day out from home. :D. Also a good distraction from the pain over the next few days could be searching the net for the most tasteless and tacky wedding gift! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Thanks for your replies on my embarrassing problem lol think i'm gonna rest for rest of the week not back at work til saturday, thats if I go, not sure if i can hack it.

Mrss - I wouldnt worry to much about your 'friends' wedding just ring her say you can go due to health issues and leave it at that if shes any sort of friend she'll understand :)

just watched 2 really terrible films on sky! must remind OH to ring sky and reduce package, what a waste of money

    Congrats EA!

Bella - bit late but I have the same issue, aong with numbness! Midwife didn't seem to care, just said it was pressure and to sit on an ice pack if I felt it was a problem. I went in about suspected thrush a few months back and they wouldn't even examine me, just gave me a pessary which I had a pinkish discharge from :( Seeing the midwife again on Tues so going to have a moan at her about it all.

Have terrible elephant feet from fluid retention so I'm right fed up atm and I'm just sooo slow at doing anything. Only 9 days left to work though :j
