Sparkle, Can I ask where you are flying too and how far gone you will be when you fly there and back?
The reason I am asking is I am flying to the US when I'm 28 weeks and flying back when I'm 30 and I'm just a bit concerned about comfort as I don't know anyone who has flown at this time.
Hiya, just a speedy lunch visit - I am 29 weeks and will be 30 weeks when I come back, am visiting Portugal. Doc says that as I have no complications, as long as I drink plenty of fluids and walk around a fair bit should be ok :T
I'm jealous of your US trip, but also know what you mean about being a bit worried, you will be fine I am sure!
Weight gain: Agh, if I am 10kg extra right now, that means there is still more to come in the next 11 weeks. Doh! I'm only petite, so the mayo fillings and occasional cakes/ice creams will have to be reduced further, I don't eat many anyway but still, it will be harder to lose later on and these treats are not good for bubs so excuses are out the window:):)

I'm blaming my weight gain more on lack of ability to exercise due to SPD than because of anything I'm eating, as I'm actually not eating more than normal at the moment.Olympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015

Hello lovely ladies
I am going to join you, if that's ok? I'm currently 15+6 with baby number 2. I have DS who is 15 months so will be 21 months when his brother / sister arrives.
I was on the pg thread the last time round (but am under another username now - long story lol)
Hope everyone is ok and look forward to getting to know you all a bit.

Not necessarily! I was 1/2 stone lighter when DS was 1 year old (when I finished bf) than when I fell pregnant with him and I ate whatever I wanted the whole way through pg and his first year and did little "scheduled" exercise iyswim. BF is your friend!0 -
Can anyone who's recently had/or had a c section recommend any pants that they have purchased for hospital and the few sore weeks beyond?
Trying to get my hospital bits together and recall previously having to make sure pants were large so they didn't put pressure on section wound but can't remember how big I went pants wise or where I got them from!, lol! :rotfl:0 -

When I had my c-section nearly 3 years ago with DS2 I think I got some cheapie ones from Matalan. But can't remember if i went for BIG pants or normal ones. I think it might even have been the normal ones and they were actually fineThank you to everyone for sharing competitions!0 -

Hi Realbutter  Welcome
Thans for the replies re measuring small. I feel a bit better this afternoon. I know if there had been anything really worth worrying about the MW would have said so.
Ummm on another note, someone just described me as "waddling" I am investing in some super high heels like Vicky Beckham - she doesn't waddle!!!:rotfl:Leo James arrived 7 days late on 26th August 2011 by emergency CS :j Such a cheeky chappy now :T0
