I got this one from Asda which I love. Nice and cool.

This looks good Perdi - I've been looking for a nightie for hospital

How do the sizes come up - I'm usually an 8-10 and short! - wondering if I should go for 12-14?

Bella: I would get your midwife to refer you to a physio - they'll be able to diagnose the problem better than anyone

    Hey all! :)

GB, glad your scan went well, hope you manage to sort out the renting situation and get moved soon.

    Alamaya, congratulations on Olivia!

Fantafan, hope bump doesn't leave you waiting too long!

Well I had my placenta scan yesterday and like GB's it's moved, yay! I still have a random trace of protien in my urine, and they managed to freak me out by checking my BP twice and getting me to do another sample, but they now think it's just one of those things. I am being checked for obstetric chloestasis though, been itching like mad, so now waiting on the bloods coming back. We got a fab pic at the scan too, she was facing us and during the scan we could actually see the lens in her move as she looked around, was amazing! :happylove

Bump did however decide to scare us half to death on Thursday by refusing to move for most of the day, went in for monitoring and within a few miniutes she was back to her usual form thankfully.

On prams we've gone for the Pliko Pramette in Country Couture and I love it, it's light, easy to manouvre and the swivel wheels lock.

Am full term on Sunday, still seems crazy that I'm going to have a baby at the end of all this though!
 Mummy to an amazing little girl

Gone totally blank so I'll have to check when I get home, but I think I ended up with a size 16-18 and I would normally fit a 10 or 12 and I'm short too. It fits really nicely, with the elastic sitting just right and good bump coverage, you wouldn't know it wasn't a maternity night shirt tbh. Will pop back on later tonight and let you know!

It wouldn't push especially when you got into a shopping centre on them shiney floors.

Apparently fitting an all terrain front wheel fixes this but at a cost of at least £40 isn't exacty a cheap option.

I found when bf'ing that PJ's were much more practical as it was much easier and more discreet to lift my top than to open buttons and having my top flapping about. But then I never got on with any of the 'official' b'feeding tops either, I have sworn by a couple of decent nursing bras and just normal tops not button ones.

I keep craving yogurt so I bought a big pot of rhubarb flavoured Rachel's Farm yogurt at lunchtime and ate the whole lot. Now I feel sooooo sick and full up. Need fresh air and a long walk but I'm stuck at my desk for another half an hour. :(

Strawberry muller corners are my treat at the moment - really odd as I don't normally like yogurt all that much. Mind you I don't normally eat ice by the cupfull either:rotfl:

Just checked and it is a 12-14 so I'd go for that.

For breastfeeding I have nursing bras with drop cups.. I fell out with the zip cups after nipping my skin a few times! and i have just ordinary vest tops.. I have found those waterfall cardies are fantastic at covering your midriff while feeding.. definitely worth investing in.. I have 4 now I think. Failing that bump bands or boob tubes under a t shirts are nice and discrete.. especially in winter when you middle gets cooooooooold!!!!!!

I got a couple of nighties from mothercare for £5 each on the sale rack.. they are hideous but practical.. they are dop cup but believe me once you've shown you nether regions to the world a bit of breast flesh is the least of your worries.. it gets to the point you show your perineum to everyone who walks onto the ward and nurses recognise you by the pretty stitching or haemorrhoids!

I can see your point, I am a bit dubious on my ability to do myself back up in the middle of the night! Atm though I prefer nightshirts as I just find PJs too hot and restricting.
