Girls, where can i purchase a really cheap front opening nighshirt type thing suitable for hospital stay (even tho i'm planning a homebirth!) and that i can live in, post-birth?

I just tried peacocks & tescos but no joy. Although the local tesco only has small clothes area

And then me!!

My 3rd sweep is on Thursday, i had the 2nd y'day and had some bleeding this morning but nothing else.

Got a birth ball to bounce on, but Lily thinks its a giant ball for her :rotfl:

Hospital just phoned to book me in for my first appointment with them on Thursday. Very handy, as my partner and I are off on a fortnight's holiday, so he can come along...

I'd try matalan for nightie they always have a big choice there.

Just ate nearly a full jar of beetroot, feel all acidy now, but it was yummy lol

Hips are still really hurting, any suggestions ring GP or midwife???

Afternoon all

I had my 32 week scan this morning to check the position of my placenta (it was low lying - abutting at my 20 week scan).
Baby was so low in my pelvis the sonographer couldn't see my cervix or the placenta so she had to use the internal scanner which wasn't too comfy but we got there in the end and she managed to establish the placenta has moved away from my cervix - good news I think.
Baby is measuring just right for dates too so that's good news

I am still having a planned section next month so should get a date when I see the consultant on 25th May I hope

In other news we have been informed that we can't move in to the rental house we were supposed to be moving in to next week while we are waiting for the sale of our properties to go through
The current tenants haven't been paying their rent but won't move out so the landlord is having to go through the courts to evict them - which evidently could take 6 -8 weeks.
I think this has really shaken OH cos we are so close to having baby now and and also he is a landlord so didn't fully appreciate how bad it is if you get the wrong tenants luck of the draw though I suppose

So I'm back on the property search - got some possibles to see tomorrow so fingers crossed!
