They're going great now thanks, I have another scan on the 16th to check the fluid around him and then a scan per month after that (though have just realised that's not many months at all!!)he's an active little monkey!

BCS has your due date been brought forward?? I swear I was only a week behind you at the most
I've just reverted to my original EDD, the one they gave me by my LMP before I had my scan as there was a 3 week discrepancy.I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

I'm sorry to hear you have been poorly hun.
I'm struggling with it tbh & had a good old cry earlier.
I just feel so fed up atm as my sugar levels seem too be high no matter what i eat.
The diabetes nurse told me Thursday that if I had 3 high reading n a row to give them a call & they would start me on meds but when I phoned Friday to say all 4 of my readings were high a different nurse said to wait until I see them this Thursday.
The 1st nurse said not to do that because my levels were so high it would be best for the baby to get me started asap.
I hate it when i'm given conflicting information. :mad:I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

I am really pleased that everything is going so well for you both now.
. I have got my next scan the day after you have yours.
. Time seems to be going frighteningly quickly now....or at least for me anyway and I am still not fully organized! :rotfl:

BCS please just phone back and phone back again until they agree to see you. From what I know and have always been told what the first nurse said was accurate and the best advice to follow. Can you call NHS 24 or your gps out of hours service or even the maternity hospital that you attend so that you can be seen earlier? Pregnancy is hard enough in itself without the unnecessary additional upset that your care providers are causing for you.0

.
I was one of those too - for all of the last 3 pregnancies and 75% of this one, sick to such an extent I throw up blood (throat raw from acid) and actually weigh less after birth than when ttc. But this time I've suffered from excruciating rib pain, one doc thought it was bad heart burn and prescribed Omeprazole. Didn't touch the rib pain BUT now I'm only sick on the days I've forgotten to take the Omeprazole turns out my MS is actually reflux or similar and it works by reducing how much acid my stomach produces.0 -

The 2nd nurse I spoke to seemed to be implying that I was over reacting & just said not to worry.
I have an appointment with my midwife Monday so i'm going to show her my readings & see what she says.
Obviously if i'm going to need meds the sooner I start the better.
All of my hour after eating readings are over the 7.8 limit & my fasting levels are all over the 5.5 limit.
Bran flakes gave me an 11.8 reading which is even higher than the 11.1 reading I got after drinking the sugary stuff they give you on the GTT. :eek:I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.
