Morning All
Quiet weekend on here - hopefully that means the boldies are having mummy cuddles!
waitingforpost have added you to the list!
Big hugs to BCS I don't have anything constructive to advise but hope you manage to get the diabetes in check soon.
koala I noticed you said you were in hospital. Everything ok?
It was my sister's 5th birthday party yesterday, never realised a bunch of screaming 5 year olds could make me so tired even when I wasn't even doing anything! All that to look forward to I suppose!
No plans for today but house is an absolute pigsty, not really in the mood for cleaning though - I need to hire someone!:happylove DD July 2011:happyloveAug 13 [STRIKE]£4235.19[/STRIKE] £2550.00 :cool:0 -
Oh crap.. The baby has started shuffling about on her bottom so now I need to shift loads and loads of stuff from the front room.. and start vacuuming daily.. she puts absolutely everything in her mouth.. gggrrrrr....
I had a bit of bleeding yesterday.. possibly induced by the tesco trolley.. good excuse not to go shopping lol. Seems ok today though.. that baby not moving at all but it is bit of a slob so I am not concerned.. plus there isn't a thing I could do anyway..
*sigh*
guess I should go lift my knitting bag off the floor.. she's getting close lol.. though she seems to prefer my slippers!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Sorry to hear you are having a bad time of it BCS. I know my gran always had trouble with her numbers but I dont have anything to suggest to help Im afraid.
Have managed to get a mattress given so we can now move back into our bed rather than the sofabed which is beginning to get uncomfy. Legs are aching every morning from laying on my sides but cant sleep any other way! In the end I had to prop myself up slightly on one side so I could lay on an angle and not flat on my back lol.
I did a lot of cleaning yesterdaywe have some family coming over that I havent seen for a while, some girls from work are wanting to visit and we have a friend from Finland coming to visit before the baby comes so Im wanting to get it all looking nice. Have started with the living room and cleaned it from top to bottom - skirting boards, windows etc lol. Started on the kitchen when I got bored of tv and have to finish in there today and up the stairs and the bathroom too so I will be a busy bee! The bedrooms can wait lol I dont think I will have the energy today! Lets just hope I have the motivation to start like yesterday. :rotfl:
Baby has been moving a lot lately, a right little wriggler! I guess he must have grown quite a bit because I always feel him moving now. Husband is just a liiiittle freaked out by it but loves feeling my tummy when hes movingHe says baby is so active he will come out running :rotfl: Also, 31 weeks tomorrow, my goodness I guess I must get a start on my hospital bag! Any tips, please?

Kandboys sorry you have been unwell, hopefully you feel better now and have perhaps been able to book an appointment to see someone?
PigPen thanks for your advice - he tends to do it on the phone or in the office, whether there is an audience or not, I have become quite used to it and so stand up to him. I think I am one of the few people who does, and he's admitted in the past he admires strong women, he has no patience for quiet people I think, and has always been this way as few people challenge him. I will have to just say that he needs to stop relying on me so much, he does so as he doesn't trust others will get the job done, doesn't help there are only 4 of us in the team.
Elmo welcome and hope scan goes well for you!
Re: Lady garden maintenance, I managed just about yesterday, and did my legs too which feels much better, I hate the fact poor OH would have to contend with roughness when rubbing my legs, want it to be as appealing as poss so I still get lots of physical contact. If I do have to ask him to help at somepoint I know he will and won't mind, but I will do what I can for as long as poss...
Delain so sorry your OH is being like that, you'd think he'd be a bit more considerate. I guess if you can hold it in that's good but I'd be tempted to remind him he doesn't know what you are going through, not even close. I read the other day that in our 9 months of pregnancy, we have the equivalent of a normal woman's hormones in 150 years! So he's lucky you don't eat him for dinner because he looked at you the wrong way...:rotfl:
Apricot it's for them to also find you stuff do do I would think, if they have hired someone too early? It sounds like on top of that it's quiet, so let them worry about it and try to take it easy. I guess it won't help if the replacement is uber quick... try lots of tea breaks?Discussions on the merit of the VAT increases / the fact that the online VAT system PDF thingy is always rubbish no matter how up to date your Adobe settings are
I am planning on finishing 30th June, however as I still have 3 weeks worth of hols to take, might finish a week earlier instead and get paid for 2 weeks. Especially if stress doesn't reduce!
Also my mum is still due for her operation to remove the throat tumour, she will need to be in hospital for 3-4 weeks, of which 2 days she will be completely under as they have to take her core temperature right now, remove the tumour, remove the esophagus and rebuild it with stomach tissue... anyway, I am thinking I might have to fly out soon as it's too worrying.
What is the latest I can still fly? Prob need to check with doc and Easyjet...:):)
