Was admitted to hospital on my 37 week midwife appointment with pre eclamsia. Was kept in for 5 days before being induced. On 5th May i gave birth to Olivia Grace at 1.05pm. 6lb 15oz. Was a 1hour labour, midwifes didnt believe me when i said i needed to push lol.
Was kept in till this morning as blood pressure kept going up so will be trying to get back to normal today and will post more soon. xx

    Wow, congratulations. :j

What a beautiful name & a good healthy weight.

I hope your blood pressure settles soon xx. :A

    Congratulations :j:j:j:j

I'm not having a bad day today considering how utterly awful yesterday was with my SPD. Just ordered DDs birthday presents online, done Mr Tesco online shop, and meal planned for the week.

The sun has decided to show up today, although it looks very blustery outside. I was hoping to get outside just for some fresh air, but we'll see!

Does anyone have any recommendations for getting photos printed online? I have all my wedding pics from last year to get printed yet and really feel we should do this before our wedding anniversary next month! :rotfl:

Oh, and I managed to trim 'downstairs' so I feel much better now :rotfl:

Alamaya massive congrats, hope she's ok and you recover 100% soon, lovely name!

Mrsspendalot glad you are feeling better - I am having a similar day at home, cooking some of Twinks Hobnobs to satisfy my sweet cravings without going to the shop and getting M&M's...

Congratulations Alamaya gorgeous name - my goddaughters are Olivia and Grace lol, I have always loved those names! Hope your blood pressure improves & looking forward to a photo xx

sparkle Im pretty sure short flights you can do up until 34 weeks ish - only problem might be the cost of insurance? I hope your mum starts improving soon xx

mrsspendalot I usually use Photobox - they usually have a few good offers on at any time and are quick with dispatching the photos & they are good quality. Pretty sure there is a free photobook (just pay p&p) on the Grabbit board which might be nice?

Well OH hoovered and had a tidy around earlier, feel like I should be doing something else but can't quite get the motivation to move off the sofa!

Congratulations Alamaya. :D. Hope things improve with your bp soon :)

Pigpen hope everything is ok regarding the bleeding can you go to your local maternity assessment for a check up just in case?

Sparkle sorry about your mum :(. I think each airline has a different policy on dates but they all ask for a fitness to fly certificate from your doc from what I remember.

Apricot I am fine thanks is just an unfortunate mix of dehydration caused by severe morning sickness being diabetic and haemoglobin deficient with the added bonus of having sciatica yet again with spd thrown in for good measure.....docs decided to hold me hostage for a few days as opposed to sending me to the knackers yard! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I don't go to the appointments they class as routine I'm def not doing extra! lol Bleeding isn't much and probably nothing anyway, it usually is.

It probably woudn't be half so bad if i didn't have to get up every 5 seconds to take something out of the baby's mouth or change her stink, or drag her out from under the jumperoo.. or the million other things that mean bending and lifting and dragging about 21lb off wriggling noise while OH who got a 3 hour lie in this morning sits and reads his book. When I did pass her to him, he had her about a minute and gave her back, he didn't even put her on the floor!
