MrsS - no its definately me aswell:rotfl:so far I've sat on the sefa and played with laptop (this site and jewel puzzle on facebook stupidly addictive LOL) entered a few competitions, done one load of washing, phoned the tribunal service to chase statement of reasons and had a sleep:rotfl:
Hugs Delain - I think you must have OH's twin:eek: If the house isn't spotless (esp the kitchen) he slams things round muttering and sighing about how its always left to him etc hes had a long day etc. The thing that annoys me is that while obviously he's more bothered by surface clutter/mess than I am (I don't find it nessicary to tell our 4 yr old to tidy her toys away whilst shes still playing with them) he never EVER sees the deeper clean issues. ie in 6 yrs he has never cleaned the toilet, only vacuums the visible areas, wipes round the biscuit tin etc etc.
Despite this I am doing my best to resist feeling guilty about my lack of activity telling myself I am 37 weeks pregnant with the worst pregnancy I've ever had, the house is clean and tidy I don't need to start spring cleaning (as OH seems to think I should be) everythings ready for the baby and anyway when he was out of work for months despite me working full time in a physical job and being pregnant I was still doing all the school runs, all the shopping, all the finances, 1/2 the housework and most of the cooking so WHY should the fact I'm now at home mean he doesn't need to doing anything other than earn a wage?
urmm whoops think my rant ran away with me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:sorry ladies.0 -

Is there? I have no memory of the last time I shaved mine!:o
I'm probably going about 4 weeks at a time at the moment, and I usually have to do them twice a week minimum
I have an epilator which then lasts a couple of weeks, but I can't sit comfortably enough to do them with that.
Don't even get me started on my bikini line :eek::eek: :rotfl: I will have to 'tidy up' before I get to 36 weeks as I need swabs doing for strep b .... and there is no way I could bring myself to go until I've trimmed :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Olympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015

I've been lucky and found that hair growth has practically stopped with pregnancy.
I can't get my midwifes to swab me for strep b - tested positive at about 25 wks last baby had to have antibiotics after birth but this this they say it will only be done if I pay to have it done privately. MW did reasure me that as it comes and goes I'm highly unlikely to be positive at birth anyway and if you birth in the waterpool (which I plan to) then the risk of transferance if dramatically reduced.0 -

lol! afternoon everyone - we are back to shaving again are we?I find it really uncomfortable if I don't shave my legs - my hair is really course and dark though it's growth has slowed a bit during pregnancy.
I haven't found too much of a problem shaving them in the shower so far though.
My lady garden is more problematic in that I can't look down and see it anymore so luckily we have mirrored tiles in bathroom and I am able to see to sort it out0 -

How odd! I had strep b with my 2nd baby and had the whole 'antibiotics in labour' thing. With #3 and with this one it's actually one of the reasons I'm under consultant led care. I was negative with #3. My mw said I would always be swabbed at 36/37 weeks because I've tested positive before. Maybe it's just our NHS Trust policy?galvanizersbaby wrote: »lol! afternoon everyone - we are back to shaving again are we?I find it really uncomfortable if I don't shave my legs - my hair is really course and dark though it's growth has slowed a bit during pregnancy.

Knowing I'd tested positive I asked for the antibiotics in labour as soon as I got to labour suite but they refused to believe me saying no its too early then it was too late:mad: so poor sweetpea had to have an IV drip in her hand for her 1st 24hrs, I was so mad with them.0 -

That's awful!
I had to be admitted when I was about 27 weeks as I had a small show, and was having strong BH contractions. They swabbed me as part of their 'routine tests' and it came back with that. I was given antibiotics there and then, and retested at 37 weeks. I can't remember whether that swab was + or -, but they said as I had tested + during the pregnancy I would be treated in labour regardless and baby would be observed for 48hrs.
I had to go straight to hospital at the first sign of labour so they could get antibiotics in me during labour to protect baby on 'the way out'. My labour was actually really short so I didn't get the full amount of antibiotics recommended, but my waters didn't break until he crowned so he was protected anyway by his waters.
Maybe some Trusts treat it more cautiously than others? On my maternity notes last time and this time it's plastered all over the top 'previous Strep B infection'Olympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015
