Thanks Apricot! I had a physio appointment last week and if anything its got progressively worse since! I'm going back next Thursday so will have a good old moan and see if they can help more than just a booklet
Seems that they've drafted in your replacement quite early though! Maybe have a word with your manager, maybe they have some loose ends they'd like you to tie up before you leave?0 -
Thanks Apricot. I was definitely sick more than 6 times lol! Even the fluids I was sipping kept coming up - yuck! But I haven't been sick since 8pm last night and I've managed a couple of weetabix this morning so just hoping all is ok really.Thank you to everyone for sharing competitions!0

I know it is pretty early to get her in. I told my boss 3 weeks would be ample to train someone but looks like I've got 8! It doesn't help that this office is tiny too so not exactly anywhere I can hide and pretend to be busy!
I work in construction and the last few months have been really quiet so pretty much all loose ends are tied up too - my own fault for being too effiicient! :rotfl:
Haven't seen Lablover around in a while - hope she is ok?:happylove DD July 2011:happyloveAug 13 [STRIKE]£4235.19[/STRIKE] £2550.00 :cool:0 -
Apricot how can your boss not know what you do?!
My Squeak has gone to sleep, I've got loads to do because OH has been moaning about the lack of washing up being done, but I'm sorely tempted just to go to bedMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

She just lets me get on with it I think! She has a vague idea but I mean she doesn't understand that bank reconcilliations and VAT returns need to be done - I think she thinks the computer just does them automatically!
 for OH moaning about the washing up - tell him to do it & you have a rest!:happylove DD July 2011:happyloveAug 13 [STRIKE]£4235.19[/STRIKE] £2550.00 :cool:0 -
Is it just me that feels completely and utterly exhausted, completely lacking in motivation to do anything other than slob on the sofa, and completely uninterested in anything at all at the moment???

I'm dreading this! It's bad enough after dinner when it feels like there isn't enough space inside, really don't want to feel like everything is stretched to bursting.
MrsS - maybe try a brief walk. Is that a stupid suggestion with your spd?! I find I'm really exhausted in the evenings after a long day at work and Friday night, at the end if the week is a complete wipeout. I'm only 22 weeks and this is meant to be the easy bit. You haven't exactly had it easy so bound to be a bit down in the dumps.
Yay. Have pushcair, carrycot and cot sorted now. Can't wait to play!0 -
Nope. I'm the same. Unfortunately, my sofa is miles away at home. There's only a couple of hours to go!!!!mrsspendalot wrote: »Is it just me that feels completely and utterly exhausted, completely lacking in motivation to do anything other than slob on the sofa, and completely uninterested in anything at all at the moment???

Nope, definitely not just you! I was wondering the same too and I *think* its tiredness because I can sort of concentrate on stuff (like driving fortunately) whereas if I'm depressed I can't focus on anything at all (especially driving )

He has been moaning for days - the fact that I feel sick ALL the time and can hardly stay awake hasn't softened him any. He rang earlier on his lunch break, waking me up, then called me lazy and said I should be doing housework not sleeping
The phone ringing woke squeak and he seemed pleased about that like he thought I'd have to get up if he woke the baby. It backfired because I snuggled her up with me and we both got another hours sleep, and bonus cuddles
I know he thinks I'm too messy but he's really getting to me at the moment. He says I don't understand how much it gets to him and that 'he can't handle it' Like I want to feel like this or something. If he does help it'll be patronising little speeches about 'how easy it is to do it as you go along' and 'oh look isn't it better, I can relax now' and I'm thinking no, it isn't it looks OCD clean now!! It just makes me want to slap him
I am going to bed early tonight I think, I've had enough!Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o
