Not sure what can help cramps Annibee but id like to know too. I get it in my calves while im sleeping. My natural instict is to flex my foot down (pointing my toes) but that makes it worse. if you pull your foot up then it stops the cramps.
Im also getting pain at the top of my thigh on the outside. its not as far up as my hips. it feels like growing pains. i guess its the weight of the baby puling when im sleeping. I had it with both DD and DS but I hoped because i had a memory foam matress this time it would be better.

Good luck this weekend with your mum, dont let her stress you out.

Im off to Asda in a bit to see if there is any further reductions. i wanted the bottle flask thingy for taking out. It was £19 down to £15, im hoping it will be £10 or less know. it has a large lid for heating a bottle in. Im still hoping to BF but I like to express for when im out or to let OH do it.

I got my appointment with a perinatal mental health nurse. Unfortunatly its in Aberdeen Matrernity hosp. which is an hours drive away and at 2:30pm so both DD and DS will be at school/nursery. i have no one to pick them up, so I cant go. I was hoping they did clinics in other areas, as the MW seemed to think she did.

I was advised bananas and tonic water for the cramps......tonic water would be the replacement for the quinine they can give you if you aren't PG and getting the cramps...HTH xxxxx

can I have it with Gin in it?:D i love a gin and tonic, I hate tonic on its own though. I wonder if its nice just with the ice and slice?

I cant wait for a nice large glass of rose, I know we're allowed the odd glass here and there but I never feel right about having a drink in pregnancy, not that Im saying its wrong if you have had one! Just my personal feeling on the matter.

Had to add that in, I appear to be upsetting people today lol

I hate tonic water too so added a drop of blackcurrant to it and it makes it bearable lol

Edited to add....who are you upsetting DM????? (and I had a sneaky couple of glasses of Rose over Christmas but have had none since....we have a bottle of champers in the fridge for after the birth but I'll be BF hopefully so won't be able to have more than a sip or 2 )

i had a couple of glasses of wine over xmas and I felt so guilty. I had a Baileys a couple of Saturdays and again felt too guilty.
We have a bottle of champagne (yep real stuff too) in the fridge ready to wet the babys head when it arrives. Maybe not the first night but on a calm Saturday if we can get one once the baby is here. i cant wait.
