Lol OH gets annoyed about the opposite. Every person he speaks to asks how I am, he was saying the other day "Doesn't anyone care how I am?" - I told him they didn't and he comes last now, don't think he was too impressed with that :rotfl:
Hi Anderson added you to the list on the previous page!
Agh it's so blooming hot in this office, I am roasting alive! Never mind though, I should finish in about an hour and am looking forward to my long weekend.
Need to buy some maternity linen trousers, I have ordinairy ones on today, held shut with a bobble but every time I go to the loo I keep losing the bobble!:happylove DD July 2011:happyloveAug 13 [STRIKE]£4235.19[/STRIKE] £2550.00 :cool:0 -
Just got back from the midwife and heard the heartbeat for the first time and now can't wipe the cheesy grin off my face
Would you mind adding me to the list too please Apricot? I'm due 10th OctoberOh and maternity linen trousers - I got a pair of white ones from New Look for £19.99 which was more than I wanted to spend but they are so comfy!
We've nicknamed our bean Bob (because we were watching too much Blackadder when we found out :rotfl:) so we've told everyone that we'll have a Robert or a Roberta!0 -
We told her that we picked out a girls name a while ago, which she keeps ignoring, and when we mentioned some boy names we'd thought about she said 'Oh I don't like them'.
That's REALLY annoying and would upset me. I just wouldn't tell her anything. Once you have chosen and that's what the baby (her grandchild) is called then she won't be able to do/say anything. She probably won't care by that point either.0 -

twi1ight, we're going up to she her this weekend so I know names will come up again. If she tells us ones she doesn't like I'll struggle to bite my tongue and say 'but what if we WE like them for OUR child?'
I've decided that when we do decide what the name is, we're gonna do exactly what you've suggested and keep it to ourselves. I've said to DH that once a baby has a name, whether it's unusual or not, when it's said often enough, it just becomes natural and is no longer a name, but a person. It's like Beyonce, when I first heard her name I thought that was unusual name but now I don't batter an eyelid!0 -

Bella, that must have been really scary. Keep a close eye on him. When my eldest was 2 (11 years ago) we were on holiday when she got ill, ended up rushed to hospital in an ambulance with meningitis septicaemia.
You can't take any chances with little ones. How brave of him too with the needles.:)Henry James Born 18/03/2011-11 days late!:)
