It tastes a bit metal-y but some mouthwash sorts it out
I got a 2 week pack from Wilkinsons for £4.10
I have to get my Iron Levels up to 10.5 (currently 10.2) otherwise i cant go to the midwifery led unit.
Cant belive im 37wks Saturday :j

I hope yours manage to go up so you can to the midwife led unit0 -
thanks evansangel i've been reading about the side effects online! I was told they won't test my blood anymore and i just have to take the tablets until the end of my pregnancy. I was hoping to go to a midwife led unit for the birth, so how will they know my iron levels are high enough?!
I hope yours manage to go up so you can to the midwife led unit
I had bloods at 8, 28 & 34 wks and Im having more at 38wks to see if the iron level gets higher.
Usually you have bloods done at your booking in and again at 28wks.
Im not sure why i had mine done at 34wks but lucky i did
If your taking yours throughout you should be fine0 -
So on top of the sickness, diawoowoo, backaches, constant Braxton Hicks I now have an ear infection in BOTH ears meaning I barely have any part of me that isn't in pain. My head feels like it's going to throb right off. Oh woe is me!
No point to this btw... just a very self pitying post! 7 days to go before bubs comes out and I really didn't anticipate being on antibiotics when he did come. Gah. *stay positive... stay positive* 7 more days!!!!!!Beautiful Baby Boy born 28 April 20110 -
On the positive side though at least you should be fully recovered for the arrival of your baby as other minor infections that you haven't been aware of will also be treated leaving you in the best possible position0

I would grasp that concept wholeheartedly if I hadn't JUST finished a course of antibiotics for a water infection that I never had!!!! But... i'm gonna roll with it in the effort of trying to remain positive!!! YAY!!! Cheers hun!
I'll be good. I'm all drugged up with Co-Codamol which has sorted my face out but isn't touching the braxton hicks pains. That can't be good! Or is it?! HmmmBeautiful Baby Boy born 28 April 20110 -

Sorry Charlie I was just trying to come up with some kind of positive regarding your current situation.
Vroom every minute that passes is still one closer to meeting your beautiful baby!0 -
Hugs Charlie you've really been through it recently.
I've spent the night watching Robin Williams stand up, bouncing on my ball, pressing my thumbs and other reflex points, and eating pineapple. Nothing exciting happening though lol.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Another day of visiting, our now 6 day old healthy baby and wife with high blood pressure.
All day her blood pressure has been lower than 90, yay.
At 6pm it's at 90, at 7pm it's over, at 8 I leave shes upset and when it's next checked it's over 100.
I'm not a doctor by trade but I can read and research what notes mean. Hospital notes are very easy to read so I today I sat and read them. She had been fine with no concerns until Monday when her blood pressure rose as we waited for the baby blood tests that never came back. They dropped back to normal and stayed that way through Tuesday. Then Tuesday after being told she'd be staying in due to her blood pressure rising once the night before (this is all very obvious) she's then had high blood pressure at night and in the morning during the day it's fine. It's very high after I leave and high just before I do.
I can see a pattern and tomorrow we're told (again) she will come home... I've heard that before. But we are going to insist that she is discharged.0 -
Oh Charlie, hope you perk up soon and the meds do their job.
Knock knock baby vroombroom. Time to come out now!
This baby makes me laugh. Wherever I put my trouser waistband, he kicks it. It's not particularly tight either. Cheeky thing, claiming his space.0
