Sorry Charlie I was just trying to come up with some kind of positive regarding your current situation. :o

Vroom every minute that passes is still one closer to meeting your beautiful baby! :D

Ooo no need for apologies hun. I appreciated your thoughts! Was very kind of you to try!

And thanks to everyone else on here too. Really appreciate the kind words. Am pretty much the same as Teenie today. Lots of tightenings and hoping to make it through another day without too much action.

There IS something positive today though... my mum is having the kids tonight so I can get a rest!!!! :j:j:j:j (<<< I can't do this in RL but that's how I feel!)

Labour vibes to all who want them and hugs all round x

Vroom and Benson labour vibes your way and Nic I'll be like you closer to the time, have a Robin Williams stand up DVD at home to watch then too! Good luck ladies and hope it's not too uncomfortable for you with the heat.

Keith I do hope at somepoint in the next 24 hours you get a result, as it must be so frustrating, your OH is lucky to have you being so strong and checking into everything for her.

Charlie feel better soon hun, so nice at least that you have the night 'off' tonight though and can chill, really pleased for you.

Well we had breakfast outside which was lovely - trying to me more MSE so I made our own MSE luxury muesli yesterday then this morning some homemade muffins with apples and cranberries. We ate outside with some obligatory hot cross buns and yoghurt for the muesli, sunbeams and bird calls all round, the most relaxed feeling which we both needed. We watched our cat prancing around the garden being silly too.

Trying now to get the energy together to finish painting my bench and little table - soon to be all lovely mediterranean blue... just need my special treat of a real cinammon coffee first!

  • Hi everyone :)

I feel Ive been a bit quiet on here lately but not a lot going on really!
Ive got my 29 week appointment on Tuesday with the midwife. Can anyone tell me what they do? Im hoping to hear the heartbeat again as I would like to record it :D we didnt last time. Also finally put in a urine sample after not doing one before. Bad naughty supermaiden!

I only have 2 more work days left next week, then weeks of holidays and then maternity leave, I have no idea what Im going to do with myself! I cant wait to finish in a sense but also know I will miss the people I work with because its done a lot for my confidence being able to just talk to them all about anything and nothing lol as Ive not had that for a long time.

Feeling a lot better on mornings, not feeling sick at all so hopefully the morning sickness has passed for a while eventually! Only problem I have been having is ringing in my ear, never used to have it but it is annoying. My Dad has tinnitus so I know what its like to have that and he hates it, says if you dont hear it you listen out for it and thats when it ends up staying. :( It only seems to be when Im lying down at night though, and this morning I have it I think because Im listening for it, not trying to though as I dont want it lol I dont like it.

Hope everyone is well and sending labour vibes to those who need them. Congratulations to all those who have had babies recently.:T

I've finally rescued the wife :D Blood pressure had stabalised so she was allowed home.

Our dog is finding baby strange, but that should be fine in time.

Just popped to town to get this https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/43056306#Comment_43056306

    Good luck all

    Hello again. :D

Sorry Supermaiden I am really not sure what happens at 29 week appointment as I only see doctors not midwives :(

I am really pleased for you Keith that you finally got your family home. :D

Not sure if it will be any use to anybody but Tesco are doing buy 1 get 2 free on huggies wipes which although not much use for all the newborns are great to have stashed in a cupboard when baby gets a bit older. :)

Hello everyone - hope you've all had a lovely day, I haven't read back yet but sending massive labour vibes to those who need them.

I have done lots of decluttering today as well as a Tesco double the difference shop and a walk along the seafront, feet are killing me now so I think a night flopped on the sofa is in store.

Well midwife came this morning to do a sweep, nothing happened. Cervix is back and high still which was the same with no 2!
So booked in for induction on bh Monday!! What a way to spend a bh!! It took 36 hours and 3 lots of gel last time so not looking forward to this at all! Just hope something happens Sunday so I don't have to be induced although I doubt it v much!!
