Twil1ght - I'm intrigued now!! I'm having a similar issue - our absolute favourite name for a girl (nothing else even comes close) would give her the initials ARS. Trying to decide whether we're cruel (and selfish!) enough to give it to her.
xDxFear is temporary, regret is forever.....:happyhear Baby girl born 27th September - 10 days late!! :happyhear0 -

Lol twil1ght my little brain can't even begin to try to work that out at the moment!
I don't worry too much about initials, in school we had stupid computer log ons which meant you had to use the last three letters of your surname with the first two letters of your forename. Mine wasn't too bad but a few people's were awful, one of my friend's was HUNKI but we also had a B*TCH!:happylove DD July 2011:happyloveAug 13 [STRIKE]£4235.19[/STRIKE] £2550.00 :cool:0 -
We had a thing at the library in school where you had to give the first 4 letters of your surname... mine spell a rude word :eek:Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession

Well, we've got an OJG and a LKG and this one will be JCEG (if it's a boy) or KLMG (girl) DH chose the middle names for the other 2 which were his 'family' names so now it's my turn lol-for the boys middles names, they are family names and i couldn't decide between them so am going with both and the girls are the same as my 2 middle names-one is a family name and one is a middle name which is just mine lol my mum gave me the other one as she didnt like the family one, but still wanted it, which is kind of why i am keeping it, but also keeping mine as well lol the family name is my mums middles name, my great aunts name and my great grandmothers name.
We haven't really been harrassed about names....yet lol but i would just say we hadnt decided or just say you're keeping it a secret lol I've discussed names in general about names we like etc but not about names we've def decided on0 -
I'm not going to tell people when we choose a name. I think it takes some of the fun away and we've already lost some as we know it's a boy now.
For initials, lots of people in my family are known by their middle name eg Henry James but everyone calls them James. So could do that to change initials but it may cause more problems in other areas eg school register, work email address etc. My favourite girl name would have meant initials BS.0 -
Bearing in mind I'm only 15 weeks tomorrow, 4 weeks ago and a few times since then, MIL has been texting DH about boy and girl names that she likes (which I don't mind) and ones that she doesn't like (which I do mind).
We told her that we picked out a girls name a while ago, which she keeps ignoring, and when we mentioned some boy names we'd thought about she said 'Oh I don't like them'.
Now I'm normally a calm person but she really has got on my wick about the whole name thing. In her texts to DH she never asks how I am even though she knew I was suffering with MS. She just bangs on about names!0 -

I love winding her up telling her we've picked Wayne for our boy (if it is a boy - she's convinced it is and won't let me even look at girls things!!).
