Um please can you go back and unbold those ladies Teenie? You've just bumped us up to 5th & 6th in the blink of an eye

I sat this morning looking at the Moses basket set up next to my bed, thinking there is going to be a baby in there very soon. It's time to panic.

Keith hope all went well - is your wife a regular user of this thread Just wondering what her username on here was if she is. Good luck for today and hope you are enjoying bubs already maybe!

It's Keith that's on the list.

Wow lots and lots of boldies now, I'm now only 5th after them  it really has flown by! Fingers crossed we have more announcements very soon and hope something is happening for Keith and his OH.

Finished washing the last of my baby blankets, DH steam cleaned the living room and hall carpets last night, will steam clean kitchen floor today (again, it was only done last week we have the worst lino ever that shows up everything!!), Mum and Dad back home today so feel like I am ready for bubs now. My bff came over yesterday and she had the same consutlant as I do now. He gave her an early sweep as he thought she was having a big baby so I am kind of hoping he will do the same for me when I see him on Tuesday. I would really like my baby next week but they only come when they're ready!

Have you got it all sorted with your blankets and everything just ready for bubs? I wasn't sure if I should do it now (or wait until I was in labour pmsl :o)!!

You nesting missus? At least your all organised.
I've washed all the clothes and top sheets and blankets. I'm just using White pillow cases for the Moses basket. They are clean but in the airing cupboard, so will freshen them up.

I repacked my bag (again lol) and packed juice and nutri grain bars and chewing gum. I also packed bag for the kids with clothes and snacks, incase we have to take them with us during the night. That way we can lift them in their jammies.
My mum is here from the 25th so I will have childcare from then.

LOL DH is nesting on my behalf.....it's him that's doing all the cleaning :rotfl::o!

oh good point about getting a bag ready for DD though, I keep thinking about it but then forget. Will do that today, although because she didn't settle at Mums last week, Mum has said that if I go through the night she and dad will just come over here so at least there is not too much disturbance, will just have to make sure there are sheets ready to throw on our bed!

    Morning ladies,

Not alot happening here, started getting blurred vision so called midwife, went in to be checked over, bloods etc (all ok) and they suggested I come in today for a sweep. Called up this morning and they can't fit me in, but might try tomorrow. Was already feeling a bit down about that (I blame it on the hormones) but then DH kept telling me to cheer up etc (never helps!), then received expected call from midwifes to say that my induction will actually be on Wed instead of Tues, so silly, I know its only a day later but feel really down now :(

Sorry for the self indulgent post :(

Congrats to Sarahjanetim & hope Keith is enjoying cuddles now xx (And Dipsy &Alfalfa of course xx)

  • Morning all!!!

It seems everyone is getting the jitters about how quickly we are all moving up the list...including me-now 18th after the bold ladies
and I had a major wobble at about 5am this morning lol couldn't sleep and got all emotional and hormonal really wanting my baby now-woke up thinking about those first baby cuddles and decided I didn't want to wait anymore lol anyway, woke dh up cos it made me all jittery and he tried, bless him-to make me feel better by saying that I only had 5 1/2 weeks left, and if my previous 2 were anything to go by I could only have 2 weeks left -but somehow that made me worse lol so there I was, a wide awake blubbering mess at 5am:rotfl::rotfl:
I swear DH thinks i've gone crackers (although between us, I secretly think I am a little bit!!:o but shhhhh don't tell him that!!)
