Good luck Keith, Dipsy, Alfalfa, Lotty and everyone else patiently waiting or expecting "procedures", what a roller coaster!

    And congrats Sarahjanetim!!

Sorry the mw you saw was rubbish, vroom. I don't have my own one. I live in a city, and there isn't even a mw led unit here, and at my first mw appt was told I could see one of six mw at any appt but when I got to the hospital it would be a different team altogether. Doesn't really fill me with confidence.

Koalamummy - we're staying team yellow. Sometimes wonder if we should have found out just to make the name search easier... having a mare with that one.

Well I'm usually asleep by now but I thought I'd save time on cooking and had super noodles (oh is away). I'm really paying for it now. Thought I'd have learnt my lesson after the prawn cocktail crisp overdose, but no. I hate heartburn.

Finally completed the application to the consulate for my dads estate - been putting that off for a few months now. Pure avoidance, it just kept reminding me that he's not here anymore. I think I will feel better once it's sent though.

AND I have my last holiday to look forward to, thank goodness! Four nights in Italy for pasta and ice cream (and more heartburn probably). Oh doesn't travel so I'm going with a friend. Then it's visiting OHs parents over Easter, my mum over the royal wedding w/e and then I am ready to stay put & start nesting :)

Hope you all have something nice to look forward to (other than a baby of course!)

Congrats Sarahjane, enjoy your mummy cuddles!

Galvaniser hope you can get the place and the sale goes through ok for you, I know how stressful it can be so good luck hun x

Smileyface I am due around same time as you and appetite seems to be increasing again - I think because baby is much more active this week than he has been last couple of weeks. I just hope my energy keeps up as I have a lot more to get finished before he turns up!

Vroom sorry midwife was rubbish and hope bubs arrives before your next appointment with her...

Caelshorn well done for sorting out your dad's stuff, I know how hard it can be, but it's done now and you can look forward to the trip.

Keith hope all went well - is your wife a regular user of this thread? Just wondering what her username on here was if she is. Good luck for today and hope you are enjoying bubs already maybe!

    Morning ladies

Vroom - sorry your midwife was horrid. Mean cow. Hope your eviction plan has worked.

Keith - hope your baby has arrived now and you've having cuddles

Caelshorn - have a lovely time in Italy

I'm on the mattress hunt today - so many types to choose from; how do I know which is best? I've seen a few sprung ones on Amazon which seem good value - is sprung the way to go (they seem more expensive than the foam, so I'm guessing so?).

I know someone bought a mattress from Amazon a while ago - can't remember who though now.

Anyway, have a good day everyone - labour vibes to all BOLDIES!!

    xDx

    Morning all

Hope everything is going well with your OH Keith.

Debbie, we have a sprung one. We felt them foam ones wouldn't last the life of the cot bed. It's now being used for baby number 3. It's like brand new due to the breathable cover I had on it. Ours was a mid price one from Mothercare, it was OH's mum and dad who bought it for us so can't remember how much it was.

I think it was Digitalphase and gratefulforhelp who got the mattresses from Amazon. They both seemed happy with the mattress they got.
