I remember my SIL towards the end of her pregnancy getting all swollen , her nose went massive . In the last few weeks she couldnt eat much at all , she ordered a pizza from the italian and could only eat one slice, she had that much pressure on her tum and bladder. Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

ive no self control either and Oh and me indulge in a nice cake or biccie with our evening cuppa, hes sympathy eating lol.
Ive not weighed myself at all. ive tried to eat healthy dinners to make up for the cakes, battenburgs and nutella ive been craving.
If all goes well ill be back at Zumba and slimming world after my 6 week check.
I put on 3 stone with DS and i know ive not put on as much this time (so far) as its all bump, nothing else seems much bigger.
After DS I lost the 3 stone in 3 months by BF a bit, walking A LOT with the pram, buggy fit and slimming world. It was the best id ever felt and looked. So I plan to get there again. tell me im not completely deluded :santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

Cutteryby I really do want to let go , I have upped my portions , as my usual meals just werent filling me up but when youve had weight issues its hard. Funny thing is Ive nvr been overweight (never been above a size 10) but did get really skinny once and it was utterly depressing , worst months of my life but I did manage to fall pregnant. Every cloud. Hopefully going to IKEA in 2 weeks to get bubs cot, mattress and 2 chests of drawers. Just need to rope OH into coming....
I got my mattress and sheets from Ikea (to go with the bargain M&S cot.
Re the weight thing - I do understand.
When I was pg with DS it was obvious my ex hb had a real issue with my weight gain and this turned in to something else or should I say turned him to someone else.
The situation never fully recovered itself unfortunately (there were other problems too) but in my head it will always be there that I wasn't attractive which is silly I know and my partner now is very different and not nearly as superficial but still it sticks in my mind.
Anyway less of the depressive talk - I am going to look at 2 places to rent tomorrow and really hoping one of them comes up trumps!0 -

Ooh I want to do Zumba when I've had bubs - it looks really good - have you been before?
There is a buggyfit near me too, not sure if I would feel a bit daft doing that though - it's a bit too out in the open :rotfl::happylove DD July 2011:happyloveAug 13 [STRIKE]£4235.19[/STRIKE] £2550.00 :cool:0 -
I'm 30+4 now (), and I've put on about 1st 4lbs so far. But I hve a deep love of cakes and crisps at the moment. And I'm partial to a McDonalds too lol.
I'm 5 foot 5 and was just over 10 stone to start with. It still seems mainly bump and bo obs so far, but we'll see how the next 10 weeks go.I plan on doing lots of walking with the pushchair once she's here, so hopefully that'll help get any extra weight off.
I finally had physio yesterday, it was the other side causing the problem this time, and both sides of my pelvis were hypermobile, but she seems to have stabilised it again. Just have to see how I get on in the next few days. Mummy to an amazing little girl0 -

Speaking of food, i will be back later-DH is taking me to McDonalds for lunch!!!! Thanks to madbird mentioning it last night!!!!!
Yak for the being ill so muchI did 5 months of all day every day sickness with my first pregnancy - this one hasn't been too bad with regards to sickness but the first 14 weeks saw me exist on mainly Corn Flakes/Rice Krispies and cubes of cheese with tomato/cucumber/apples - a somewhat random combination I admit but all I could get down! Enjoy your McDonalds!! x

Aww sweety, sorry, I misunderstood your post. Bubs will always take what they need but you also need to make sure you're ok and getting what you need - have you had any particular cravings?
I have no self control whatsoever & so when baby wants mcdonalds I begrudgingly oblige :rotfl: Really though whilst obviously you should try and eat healthily I don't think getting hung up on putting on a certain amount of weight is healthy. Just think of it as your body putting on what it needs to and sometimes it really needs those cream cakes!:D
:rotfl: Cream cakes... McDonalds... KFC... Donuts... Chocolate... Seriously though, I found that sometimes I really really wanted a certain food and my mother in law said that's my body letting me know it needed the top up of whatever was in that food - like if I wanted red meat then maybe my iron levels were low - that kind of thing. I'd like to think that were true but I'm not sure what goodness my body thinks there are in Dairy Milk :rotfl:All horses deserve, at least once in their lives, to be loved by a little girl.

I went to Zumba until I was 12 weeks preggers. but as I was showing I thought id mention it to her and she told me I couldnt comtinue as her insurance didnt cover it:(
Ive found a new class near me, so that will be my 'me' time.
I LOVE Zumba, its so much fun but a fab work out. I hate the gym, its too boring, Zumba is an hour of dancing with great music, all thats missing is a voddie and coke.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0
