:eek:I have the Silver Cross Sleepover Classic Deluxe, used it for 3 years with DD and LOVED it, it's still like new, and I'll use it for 3 years with this one (when and if he ever comes out) what did you have about it?

Sorry I didn't mean to cause offense :o. My main problem was that due to the layout of my house it did not actually fit through the front door so had to always take it round to the back of the house to get in and out but fitting it through the garden gate wa like a feat of engineering as it was only a tiny bit narrower than the gate posts:A. I adored it in the shop when I picked it but in reality for me it just did not work. It went to a good home though as the girl I passed it on to loves it and is still using it. :D

Lovely pic Sammy she's gorgeous :T

I'm not sure what contraception to use from now on. The pill has been successful for years for me, it's just me being rubbish and forgetting to take it. Especially after a few drinks.
I don't fancy the coil or implanon.
And even though I don't want anymore babies, I don't want steralised as that is too final.
We'll just have to suffer condoms and the pill.

Not much happening with me so lying low. Im 36 weeks on Thursday. Im trying to enjoy family life as it is before the big disruption, but I'm dying to meet my baby too.

Labour vibes to GFH, my1stbaby and especially PC, I hope things change before the 5th.

*sigh* still here. Had my appointment today and they still couldn't do a sweep as I am too posterior/closed/long and hard :(:(:(:( so much so they are going to break the 10 day induction policy and I am booked for 12 days over :eek::(:(:(:(:(:(:( which is the 5th of April I begged for the day before so DOB will be 4/4, her reply was if I want 4/4 I'll have to do it myself:eek: cheeky woman I would if I could:mad:.
So I go in Monday afternoon for pessaries then the drip goes in Tuesday morning, so I have another week of it:(. Consultant also have a feel and read of notes she mentioned DD was induced at 15 days over and made an expert diagnosis, she said "clearly you cook em' an extra 2 weeks" humph really?

Oh hun, that's awful, they sound so unsympathetic! Must be so frustrating. I will say 'good luck' now for 5th April as I may not be able to get online, but hopefully bubs will make an appearance before the induction is necessary anyway.

I may have the injection again, can't have the combined pill. I don't fancy the coil either. Although keeping my legs crossed could be a good alternative.

Haha yeah, could do that. However after not having s£x for about 3 months, I think we deserve a little fun again :rotfl:
I really like the coil - the most reliable and easy method I've found over the years. I too got pregnant on the pill first time, so wanted something more reliable. I had the injection after DD was born and it was just awful. I had the worst side effects ever. It took me months to realise what it was, and it was only after talking to other girlfriends who had come off the injection that I realised that it was probably the cause. Within a few weeks of the last injection wearing off, I was back to myself. I had been on anti-depressants and everything up to then. I'm sure it works for some, but definitely not for me! I hate condoms too.

I had a coil after DS1 and it was wonderful. Had another one after DS2. Again, wonderful. Having one put in is as uncomfortable as a smear test, but after that, 5 years of no worries (and no periods!). Love it!

Oh I hate smear tests. The idea of no periods sounds appealing though. Hmmm. Will have to have a discussion with my doc after wards. I dunno how I fell on the Pill, I didn't miss any tablets. The only thing I can think of is I vaguely remember having a bit of a dodgy stomach... Not sure if that can affect it. I wasn't sick, as far as I remember. Also the Pill makes me a right b$tch :rotfl::rotfl: I have been so much calmer since being pregnant.

I actually love pregnancy and oddly I really enjoy giving birth :o

It's only the SPD that has spoilt my last 2 pregnancies.

same as me then.. I had it very mildly the last few weeks with DD5 and DD3 but it was awful with the baby and I am just waiting for the day I need OH to help me into bed again.. I cried every time he helped me. Oddly I didn't have it with DD4... but I did have a perforated bowel and bladder and my peritoneum was in a roll under my ribs and my stomach muscles were not attached at all... that was messy!

I don't intend having more. I didn't intend having this one for at least another year or 2.. but hey ho... I was refused a termination due to the problems I had before as the suction used would possible do more damage than could be repaired... like a pregnancy will be ok! I hope for OH's sake it is a boy.. he really wants a son.... but I feel 'girly' .. though I am happy to be wrong. I was refused contraception in December too which makes this whole thing very galling

I hate being reliant on others for anything and I know I will be very soon

all this talk of contaception seems so strange. lol.

Took us 5 years to get this baby and even then took IVF. The docs words were it could happen naturally but you could be waiting a lifetime.

Dont know how i feel. Obviously i want my body to recover but at the same time i dont want to delay trying for further children if you catch my drift.

What?! Eh?! I'm bold?! Blumming hell!

Don't know why I'm freaked out by this, due date is tomorrow but it feels like only yesterday when I joined this thread and there were dozens of ladies in front of me.

Still no signs of labour starting apart from a dull ache in my back all night but think that's just the way I've been sitting or lying. Midwife is coming Friday to give me a sweep and although I know it only starts the labour process in about half (might be wrong here so please correct me if I'm wrong!) of women I hope it'll kick start me. Plan of action is to have baby and be home by Sunday so I can get on with being a mammy. Oh if it was only that simple eh?
