This is my last one. I hate pregnancy :rotfl:

I actually love pregnancy and oddly I really enjoy giving birth :o

It's only the SPD that has spoilt my last 2 pregnancies.

Oh dear! I don't like the sound of the coil, I must admit. I got pregnant on the Pill the first time so that isn't very reliable, and we don't like condoms that much.
I'm certainly never getting sterilised, the very idea freaks me out
  • *sigh* still here. Had my appointment today and they still couldn't do a sweep as I am too posterior/closed/long and hard :(:(:(:( so much so they are going to break the 10 day induction policy and I am booked for 12 days over :eek::(:(:(:(:(:(:( which is the 5th of April I begged for the day before so DOB will be 4/4, her reply was if I want 4/4 I'll have to do it myself:eek: cheeky woman I would if I could:mad:.
So I go in Monday afternoon for pessaries then the drip goes in Tuesday morning, so I have another week of it:(. Consultant also have a feel and read of notes she mentioned DD was induced at 15 days over and made an expert diagnosis, she said "clearly you cook em' an extra 2 weeks" humph really?

I may have the injection again, can't have the combined pill. I don't fancy the coil either. Although keeping my legs crossed could be a good alternative.

I really like the coil - the most reliable and easy method I've found over the years. I too got pregnant on the pill first time, so wanted something more reliable. I had the injection after DD was born and it was just awful. I had the worst side effects ever. It took me months to realise what it was, and it was only after talking to other girlfriends who had come off the injection that I realised that it was probably the cause. Within a few weeks of the last injection wearing off, I was back to myself. I had been on anti-depressants and everything up to then. I'm sure it works for some, but definitely not for me! I hate condoms too.

I had a coil after DS1 and it was wonderful. Had another one after DS2. Again, wonderful. Having one put in is as uncomfortable as a smear test, but after that, 5 years of no worries (and no periods!). Love it!

I have a Silver Cross 3in1 thing on a traditional looking chassis ... it's 11 years old so not sure what model it is ... but it's in as new condition coz I looked after it really well. I love pushing it and have used it for all of my babies up to about 18 months old each before transferring to a pushchair.

i was on the pill (for 6/7 years) with no accidents, however one of the drawbacks of OC is they don't recommend re-taking it as it can cause you to contnue itching due to the hormones. I think i may have the implant... tho still trying to work on getting DH steralised.

PC.... I reallly hope baby comes along soon.... for your sanity. you'da thought they'd at least let you have 4/4 after this wait.
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

PC - lets hope something happens in next couple of days so you don't have to have the induction, you must be fed up. Sending labour vibes your way!

Don't think I could afford another baby for another 3 years or so but I would like 3 or 4! We will see after this one!
