Why? people get SPD in their first pregnancy you wouldn't tell them to stop.. :p

This reminds me of what my physio said to me when I went the other day. She said 'did no one tell you last time not to have more babies?' I replied, 'my GP did mention last time that if I did, the chances were it would happen again, earlier and more painful than the previous time'. Physio says '...and you didn't listen because...?' erm .... 'I didn't think it would happen this early' :o Her reply, 'well now you know, so don't be having any more! We don't tell ladies this for no reason'

    I consider myself told off!

This will be my last, I'm going to make sure of it ... by some permanent means if I need to!

If someone moaned that much about it in their first or any other pregnancy I would tell them to stop so the world would not have to listen to them moaning! :)

I'm horribly constipated too.. any suggestions that don't involve brown fruit that already look like poo or lactulose which cripples me???

You tried Fybogel or can't you take that either?

Hi Koala and Emma - welcome to the thread!

Pigpen hope you find some tops that suit - and enjoy your day tomorrow of relaxing, it has to be done.

Sammy Esme is gorgeous - you must be so proud and taking lots of piccies, in 17 weeks or so I hope to do the same!

Had a bath at 20:30 after Easties and have been in bed since then as a bid headachy tonight, canceled seeing a friend and just under the duvet now with a toffe mullerrice with sliced banana added, a glass of milk and a paramol. Oh, the exciting nights to come eh!

I've got no idea whether I will have another one after this little man. I had never heard of SPD before getting pregnant either, so it was a big surprise.

If I do decide to have another it will be with sufficient gap so that my boy doesn't suffer if I am too ill/sore/unhappy etc to do things with him or find it hard to do things with him. So would need to wait until he is nursery/school age.

I certainly don't want any more than 2. I have no desire for a huge family. I look forward to spending quality time with my boy and if I did decide to have a sibling for him.

I will be investigating the injection and other contraceptive methods after I have the boy, as I don't want to be caught out for a good few years.
Anyway, I may find the birth a horrendous experience and that will be enough to put me off for good :rotfl:

I knew exactly what I was letting myself in for this time, and had given it plenty of thought and discussion with hubby (who is not the father of the other children, so never went through it with me last time). I was very nervous about the pain and immobility again, but figured that it would be worth it, just as my last son was. I knew from the moment I started trying to get pregnant all the things I would have to do to try and help my pelvis and not make it flare up .... so when I felt the niggles at 17 weeks I felt so fed up it had started so much earlier than it did before. That is the only thing that has depressed me and surprised me this time. I was all psyched up for the pain at the end stages of pregnancy, but not less than half way through.

Anyway, this was always going to be the final baby. I'm really trying to enjoy the experience despite the discomfort, because I think pregnancy is fascinating.

I wouldn't recommend the injection from personal experience - put on 2 stone and couldn't shift it, and was so moody and horrible the whole time I was on it. I love the mirena coil, so will be opting for that again (3rd time for me) as a temporary solution whilst me and hubby discuss permanent methods ... I will happily get sterilised but I feel that GP will recommend hubby gets done instead as it's easier surgery.

I had a less than perfect 1st birth ..... it never put me off doing it again :D:p
