    Hello to all the newbies,

    Good luck to my1stbaby!

Sammy - she is gorgeous, well done you!

Can't believe I am going to be full term tomorrow! Only three more days at work, but will be nice as getting taken for lunch all three days yay!

My feet are swolen loads again, looks awful. Got them up now with ice on, so hopefully it will go down a bit.

not sure if it is any help at all Pigpen but I bought some of the longer line woolen jumpers from new look in the next size up from my usual and they do the job nicely :D added bonus is that they are all reduced to clear to make way for summer stock so got them for much cheapness!;)

    Also primarni, purty colours.

hi Emma :D I am new as well. Not sure if it any help to anybody but I saw on the kiddicare site earlier that they have the loola up puschair and carrycot on special offer just now. I dont know if it is a good puschchair or not but it seems to be popular and a good price too.

    Hi and welcome,

I got this pushchair when it was on offer at Boots, I've not got the carrycot. I like as I'm tall and the handle adjusts, it is a bit heavy when folded, but feels light and easy to push. Really easy to switch from the pushchair seat and put the car seat on - I got the Creatisfix car seat, you don't need adapters.

That doesn't seem a bad deal - I only paid for £165.00 and I know the carrycot retails at £130.00 in some places. Might be worth looking on other sites to see what the best deal separately is, I know its not on offer on Boots anymore and its £320 for only pushchair!

Hi to rest of you, hope you're all doing well, lovely pic Sammy. Have discovered that Sprite is the cure for heartburn, was drinking squash but since cutting that out I'm fine.

Have consultant appointment tomorrow so will see what words of wisdom I get.....or not.

    Labour vibes where needed xx

I had a loola and hated it.. it doesn't fold with the seat parent facing, it weighs an absolute ton and a half is difficult to tip to get up kerbs etc. the basket is tiny and it tips with shopping on handles (or 4 school bags with reading books and not much else) the straps were in completely the wrong places and too long for D5 when she was 7/8 months.

I used it 6 times and put it on ebay.

Well being 5ft 11 I needed something suitable for my height and this suited me best, I'm not exactly feeble in structure so I'll cope. I can't put stuff on handles as the UP is a bar type, rather than twin handles which I wanted to avoid at all costs. Any pushchair used to carry bags is not safe in my opinion, having seen so many tip backwards. But with everything in life, each to their own and all that.

My OH is 6ft4 and looks like he is pushing a dolls pushchair with everything ... I have the handes on mine a high as possible as I find it is better for my back (bertini bidwell and m&p pliko) but he manages fine with them both.. he does prefer the pliko for walking with leg room which was scarce on the loola even for my shortness.

It seems to be less to do with height which I know must be difficult for taller people but when you walk do remember your feet kick forwards and you don't want to be damaging your tootsies on the pushchair!

I'll watch out for my size 9 and half clown feet then. Having tried in the shop I found it was the best to give a good stride length and I had no brake bar to kick as its neatly 2 pedals on the side by a wheel.
