ohhhhhhh 5,000 (ok now 5,002) posts

i had such good intentions of replying then it all went wrong! grr.

Pigpen.... ohh poor woe is you :D .... time to stop baby making??? hope you are on the mend soon.

Sammi? (will check in a min) .... bubs is soooo cute... i want one!!

being signed off at 18/20 weeks, house to self, no kids around..... sounds like my idea of bliss!!! I don't feel like i'm resting at all as DS only ever wants me!! unless daddy has a 'pop' (lollypop), chocolate, coke or is taking him outside to dig/ play.
and to top it DS seems to suddenly want to potty train....great you say!! wrong!! 10 potty wees in 2 hours.... just so we can take potty upstairs every time and flush it away....shattered!!!

buggy wise...we had a m&p ozone? for DS1 - hated it as it was far too heavy (but i did get it cheap 2nd hand). then got him an O'baby Atlas which i LOVED - had that over a year. replaced it with a basic chicco which i loved. also had a Luna (off freecycle) which i loved!! now bought a Koochi Helix travel system (tres cheap in argos clearance) which feels fab but i guess the proof is in the baby pushing.

ohhh sprite not had that for agessss!!!!
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

Well it's just as well there are hundreds of prams out there as not everyone is going to agree!!

Don't think it's helpful though telling someone the pram they have bought for their first child is more or less a load of crap tbh!

Lovely pic Sammy she is gorgeous!

Welcome to the new ladies :D

Evening peeps, just popping in to report that the scan today went well and we have decided to remain TEAM YELLOW:D

And on an MSE note I got this set of re-useable nappies in Mothercare reduced from £99 to £20:money: They're suitable until 6 months so will use a mixture of them and disposables and see how we get on. We had decided to give reuseables a go anyway and were going to buy this bambino Mio starter pack which is offer in Tesco at £16.XX so were very chuffed at finding this today.

Labour vibes to those who need them x

Hello, can I join you all?

I'm 26 weeks pregnant with our first baby, who is kicking away as I type this.

Unfortunately due to SPD I'm signed off work and won't be going back now until after my mat leave. I'm a nurse, and just can't move around the way I used to.

Because the original plan had been for me to try and work overtime and save some money up I'm now saving money wherever possible. OH has had to sacrifice the movie channels, I discovered that our gas bill was based on an estimate that was way over our actual reading etc, but I'm desperate for any more tips. I've also just ordered 124 Pampers from amazon for £11.11, which is my biggest tip for the top at the moment!!

So....hello, and nice to meet you all. :)

Hi Emma, and welcome :D I am a fellow SPD sufferer, it's awful isn't it. I'm sure our bubs will be worth all the pain in the end though :D

Why? people get SPD in their first pregnancy you wouldn't tell them to stop.. :p . Though many more after this one my kidneys might need replacing :p If they don't already.

I'm horribly constipated too.. any suggestions that don't involve brown fruit that already look like poo or lactulose which cripples me???
