Grateful if i want to leave the surgery someone needs to pick me up and sign a form to say I will rest for the two hours and bring me back. Not worth the hastle , will just take a book and enjoy putting my feet up. Im not sure whats worse I cant stand Lucozade, cant even stomach a mouth full of the stuff even if its the only thing left in the house
Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

Great birth story Sammy! I will keep up on the raspberry leaf tea then!

Brednall - glad the appointment went well. I used to be scared of needles but being pregnant has made me OK about them lol. I have had to have the anti d too.

My OH informed me it would be very useful if I could have the baby on due date as would work out with his leave and holiday etc around his shifts that he would have nearly a month off lol. I said I will do what i can....

I am getting taken to Jamie Olivers new steak restaurant next week on my last day of work, very excited!

Apricot Im the same , I think its cause Im nice and warm and the sun is beaming in through window. Only thing thats keeping me awake is the dreaded heartburn , not had it any ages , only had a cheese and tomato roll. How can that give you heartburn? lol

Everything gives me heartburn :rotfl:I think my baby might look like a monkey if the old wives tale is true!:D

Am trying to think of everything that I need to do before baby comes - it's giving me a headache

    Hi everyone,

Sorry not had time to cath up - just wanted to say thanks for posting your story Sammy and I will read that later on today hopefully.

Apricot sorry to hear about heartburn and LabLover maybe the tomatoes were too acidic... Also I know what you mean about trying to think about everything, for now though I am taking a break as we have many key items sorted so I can afford a break in my head... can't wait for Easter too! I have booked a couple of days over the 2 bank hol weekends meaning I have 5 days off on each weekend, soooo looking forward to it.

Must book 25 week midwife appointment, it all feels so quiet now, no more scans, just this midwife app, then 28 week blood tests, not sure what after that...

Apricot I have given up , I used to be a real list writer before but now Im not bothered.Ive told OH that we will start getting stuff sorted in April and no later ie cot up and drawers built , sheets washed etc. Evryone is convinced Im not going to make it to my due date. Not sure why ,even OH thinks it , and my mum was 4 weeks early with her first. Mind you OH keeps saying that he reckons baby will be born at the end of June and yet everytime I pin him down to pester him about going shopping for the big stuff he just says " dont worry weve got ages "

Lol, My local surgery is like something from the dark ages the one and only toy they have for kids to play with is an abacus and they dont have any magazines to flick through just leaflets on checking your stools and healthy eating ...... I'l be lucky to get a plastic chair to sit on, all the oldies start camping out around 8am even if they wont get appoinment untill after lunch.
