When Lily came out she smelt lovely, although she smelt of nothing it was still lovely. Like a 'this is my beautiful baby' kind of smell

I didn't watch obem last night, we watched robin hood. Will watch it later on catch up

Well I think this says you can take ordinary paternity leave (the 2 weeks) starting on a date of your choice within these parameters, so long as you take the two weeks all together.

Your Ordinary Paternity Leave can start on any day of the week (but not before the baby is born). It has to finish within 56 days of the baby's birth. If the baby is born before the week it was due, it must finish within 56 days of the first day of that week.

So actually chicky's DH's boss is being a twonk and doesn't know what he is on about. Unless the DH is on a temp contract/no contract?

This has been going on for days, I keep being convinced that this is it, I would tell myself to take a bath (but I just have) and take paracetamol (but I want to save it up for when it really hurts).

lol my DS got the plastic star from one of DS2's toys - tis a "wishing star" apparently... thanks rollie pollie olie.... i asked him what he was going to wish for and he said "vodka"...... hmm yes that would be lovely... but at 8am??? not entirly sure where he's got it from either as i didn't really drink before i got pg and DH (can we rename it to TH - tw!t hubbby??) usually only has beer.

he doesnt smoke around me or DS (unless we are walking somewhere) or in the house... i made that crystal clear when i met him.

Taking your Ordinary Paternity Leave

ohh i know they are taking the pi55, he knows they are taking the pi55. he even turned round and told them it made no difference at which his manager said "no it'll be fine but it'll be easier for me if i have the paperwork!"

i *think* it may be cause of his anual leave. his leave year ends end of april. cause we can't afford 2w pat leave he normally has 3 days then they let him have 2 week annual leave.

he has saved these 2 weeks up as, as we were trying, he knew there was a possibility he'd need them before leave year end. when we got told 1st may he asked if he could carry them over as a one off favour and got told no in no uncertain terms could he carry it.

so he's gonna screw them complety as they are messing around.... gonna take his 2 he's saved then 2 from next leave year almost immediatly :rotfl::rotfl:



ohhhh well i went to bed at 11pm.... he woke me at 12!! i was then stupididly itchy and sick with indigestion - went and asked him when he was coming to bed as there was no point me falling asleep to be woken up and he got stroppy. couldn't take any anti-hsts as had a dose at 11 - he came to bed and i lay there crying as i couldn't actually sleep (had that stabbing pain in my feet again to top it all off) until 2am (or was it 3??).

then slept till THs alarm went off at 7..... fell asleep again till DS woke me at 8.

ohh and TH is apparently not going to work as has toothache/ headache and had hardly any sleep (funny he never heard me crying and def was snoring!!) so he went back to sleep and just got up. meanwile i have a splitting headache and DS is in cheeky mode (ever found a 2 year old who tries to use reverse psychology on you to get his own way??)!!!!

Back pains are getting more interesting. I am going to google "am I in labour" for a laugh and then take puppy to meet my Dad at the mobile library as I have some books for him.
