Mrs S hold fire on any major argy bargy for the moment, its a stressful time and relationships do get a little frayed. Sleep on it at least. xPlease do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Re GTT tests - a friend of mine who is due on the same day has had one as routine - she got an appointment from the consultant in January. When I saw consultant (same hospital) nothing was mentioned. Midwife hasn't mentioned it either. Friend is certainly under the impression it is routine, but I've not had it mentioned to me. I'm at the midwife on Thursday so I'll see if she brings it up then.Olympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015

I'll try. It's probably as much to do with me feeling so low as it is him feeling he has too much to juggle at the moment. xxxOlympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015

Hi all!
Had my GTT this morning so thought I would update. Had my bout of sickness before I left lol and managed to get through the whole thing without being sick yay!
Midwife had trouble getting my blood so had to go to the phlobotomist again. Had my blood taken and while I was gone the midwife measured up my lucozade. I was very thirsty until I saw that jug! There was so much in it lol. It was nearly 3 plastic cups full of the stuff, and it was original flavour :silenced: Drank it all and then went to my grans and sat in her bed watching Jeremy Kyle lol. Went back to the hospital to get my blood taken again and then scavenged a sarnie and went round town a little with my mum. I was totally dreading the GTT but I managed and if I can then anyone can! Im so not good without food anyway as I get the shakes but I was fine, though I did feel sickly at times. So its not so much of a worry ladies, its not so bad at all. They had a call while I was there from a woman who was supposed to be having the test and had eaten a bananaso had to reschedule.
Bought some cute outfits for little fella, one top saying This is a job for Mummy's little hero :happyhear and one for grandad which says Grandad's little no1 helper! I figured I would get it for my dad since he was disappointed he cant buy dresses lol.
Had a look in a baby shop at the pushchair we want and got it priced. £614.99 for the Jane Slalom R matrix system:eek:. Going to see if I can find it anywhere cheaper though lol. 10% off if I buy it from their online shop. Apparently they are changing the colours though so will have to wait until next week to choose.
All in all it wasnt such a bad day, though have felt quite rough with having little food. Good news is though Im feeling more normal now with the tonsilitis! Throat still a bit sore but looking likely that I will be fine for work tomorrow.
Hope everyone is well!:j0
