Charlie - hope things slow back down for you. Staying put vibes for you.

Supermaiden - glad the GTT was ok. Those little tops sound so cute!

I have been in real pain this afternoon with a pressure type pain above my belly button, think some part of baby is wedged there...ow! Also wore my maternity jeans to work and they were digging in (they are under bump kind) so think will be living in leggings from now on.

feeling tum.. internals aren't usually performed at all during pregnancy as it increases risks of infection etc.

Thanks. That's what she has done on my last few visits. Just thought it was something different as it is mentioned on my midwife schedule, hasn't been mentioned before. Odd.

I'm glad we don't have internals. I think they do them in the US. Not sure why.

I don't think you'll need your hospital bag but you may aswell chuck it in the boot anyway. Sweeps are just when the MW/doc/nurse/whoever runs a finger around your cervix to try and detatch your cervix from babys membranes to release a hormone to send you into labour. If it works you'll go into labour within 48hrs. More often than not, they don't work but hope it does for you :)

Internals when you're in labour are horrendous! I'll never forget my 2-3cm one the doctor said 'oh i can feel hair :)' :| my 7cm one I was too busy with my g&a to care lol.

I am glad your GTT went ok, embarassed to say I don't know what it stands for, is it something to do with diabetes?

Yes :) Its the Glucose Tolerance Test to check for diabetes in pregnancy

hey all, sorry not read back but hope all is well and that everyone is ok,

Im not loitering tonight because im in a fowl mood and will only moan and bring everyone else down.

Labour vibes to those that need them, stay put vibes to those that dont.
