Oh I also have another question :o the ttc thread would know but I don't want to be insensitive. I know I conceived on day 16 of my cycle (well that was the only day we BD any time remotely around then) so as due dates are based on LMP and a 28 day cycle, and presumably ovulating on day 14 does that mean my true EDD would be 2 days later?

IF I had a text book month my due date by LMP was 13th June, 12, 20 and 22 week scan have said 14th June. So not much in it really! As we BD every day from CD12 I can't pinpoint the exact day!

Well done new mummies :T and good luck to anyone labouring or hoping to imminently!

Princess Coupon - Did they change your due date at the first dating scan from LMP? I know when I ovulated and the date they said at the scan is exactly 38 weeks after I ovulated. Could be fluke but I was very impressed. The next time I saw the midwife she changed the due date to match what the scan predicted.
    .

LMP would give me 25th, BD date would give me 27th and scan/official gave me 24th, but who knows.

congratulations to all mums with new babies :)

OH has decided we are not buying anyhting for the baby till after the 20 week scan :( its not fair I might have to go secret shopping and hiding stuff it back

I start buying at 16/17 weeks meaning I can still return things after the 20 scan.

Bella - if they are giving you the carseat too then it's a real bargain. I've heard to be wary buying 2nd hand as you can't be sure it hasn't been damaged in a car crash but if it's someone you know then you'll know if it's been looked after. I'm gutted that this little one won't be able to inherit a car seat from it's cousin, they're so expensive.

Sounds like a good bargain Bella, haven't any experience myself but you can't go too wrong at that price.

I have been doing some baby shower planning this afternoon. Doing a quiz with celebrity Mum's and baby names and also a music round with tracks with baby in the title hehe.

I took your advice and went and got checked over. I have for the first time in my life got tonsilitis! Got antibiotics and she took a swab so just have to wait for that back to see if theres anything better they can treat it with. She said it was a good job I went because it just gets worse. So thankyou ladies, especially pigpen lol. Hopefully I will feel better soon!
