I am not sure where the list is but i have got 6 sleepsuits and 6 vests in both newborn and 0-3 month sizes. Might have gone OTT on the newborn if she is not small but didn't pay too much so not too worried.
I haven't bought any outfits as I think these will be given as presents and also I think baby will be in vests and sleepsuits most the time.
Someone who has had children before might be more help on what is actually needed!0 -

orr perhaps we better not as **cough cough** some of us went a bit overboard on clothes..... 14 grows, 14 vests, 14 t-shirts, 14 dungarees/ trousers...... in all sizes..... plus loads of early baby as ds1 was too small (even at 41 weeks) for newborn.....
must admit tho i didn't actually buy most of it it was inherited!!
plus those figures are the updated ones - this weekend i have sold 70+ items of 0-12m clothes.:D:rotfl::rotfl:

Afternoon all.
Congratulations on all the new arrivals and Labour vibes to Waterbaby hope little one arrives soon!
Sammy (i think its you that has tonisilitis) i suffer with this relatively regularaly and tend to find that ice water with a bit of lemon in it helps the pain, as does sucking on an icecube if you can manage it - i always find it gets worse if i havent drank anything -also, Orange juice - sounds like a good idea, really ISNT - i always find it burns my throat. Oh, and Ironically enough, if you can make yourself eat something solid like bread or crisps then i always find that helps my throat stay open for a while
I hope that this helps and you feel better soon!
OH and i did a big baby wander yesterday bought nothing really useful lol, and now OH is looking at Cots on his lappymakes a change from him looking at sheds lol.

SDH, How much do you plan to have the washing machine on?
Lily had 30 vests and sleepsuits in 0-3 and never used all of them.
This boy has 17 vests and sleepsuits i think (some from Lily and some that i bought)
I did do a chart so i knew exactly what i have but its upstairs and Lily has fallen asleep across my lap0 -
Haha Chicky, I think it is OK if it is inherited! I think we all get a bit excited buying baby clothes.0

....maybe not quite allll inherited (i..e when you are off to visit family 200 miles away for the week tis sooo much easier to buy a new pk of everything :-) then you have to consider the fact you may be going away on a long weekend and not have access to a washing machine.... will 6 be enough?? (maybe for a day and a half)loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0

I agree that unless you want to be washing all the time is worth having more. Think will see how big baby is and what we get as presents and then send OH out for more if needed hehe.0

Hello ladies, well what an eventuful 24 hours we've had. I went to the walk in centre yesterday cos was feeling a bit 'off' and all the symptoms pointed towards pre eclampsia.
They had a look at BP urine etc and doc thought I had a water infecrtion, he rang mat unit at hospital to see what they wanted to do and they asked for me to go in. So I collected OH and my notes (and hospital bags just in case) and went in. Was monitored for an hour and baby was soooo active it's heartbeat was zooming up. MW said this was just cos it was being so active (it actually pushed the straps off lol) but she wouldn't let me go til it had settled, so after lots of 'calm down baby' vibes he settled down.
She took lots of blood for screening so we hung around for results to come back and they came back to say I had low platelets, which means blood may not clot properly during birth
Apparently nothing too serious but they have dropped a lot since my original ones at my booking in appt. So am having to go see the consultant on tuesday.
Was fine with that and was feeling well so went out for friends birthday dinner as planned last night. Got home about 10pm,totally whacked, and this horrible back pain started again. I've had it a couple of times this week. It's across the top of my back where I guess my lungs are and I think it is just baby pushing everything up making it difficult to breathe but I was in tears and poor OH was frantic.
I then proceeding to spend all night sat of the loo with my head in a bucket with all sorts coming out of both ends (TMI sorry!). So no sleep for me. Finally nodded off about 5am and have just woken up. Feel much better but soooo exhausted. Supposed to be out for neices 18th today meal today so I've sent my apologies and sent OH in my place. Currently say on sofa debating whether or not I can attempt some toast.
Sorry for mammoth post, hope all you ladies are having better weekends.
