    Hi all.

Still feeling sorry for myself lol. Throat is very sore. Have taken 4 tablets so far and another in a couple hours so Im hoping it will have some effect soon? Didnt sleep well again last night, waking up all the time and everytime I swallowed. Kept waking husband too and he has to be up so early so felt really bad about that. :( Managed to get a few hours after he had gone to work and then took another nap just now though kept waking up with that one.

Will give the ice cubes a try if we have any done, if not I will try another ice pop though I keep having to tell myself off for chewing it lol :D Trying to eat soup and managed half a slice of toast this morning just taking little bits off to eat, Im sure birds would take more lol.

Little guy has been giving me kicks so that is reassuring :) as I worry about the tablets and the effect on him from this infection.

Not a lot more to tell really, havent done anything, dont really plan to unless husband drags me out lol. Hope everyone is having a good day.

Oh and I have the GTT on Tuesday but not sure about it now since I cant have my normal diet for 3 days? Would it be best to reschedule?

how uneventful jojo.... we're not used to that :T:T :D

i can understand your worry supermaiden... would it help to tell you that from 6 weeks I have had the following tablets and they say bubs is fine:

    • fluxloxicillian - 3 a day for 2 weeks
    • amoxicillian (at the same time) - 4 a day for 2 weeks
    • anything between 5mg and 15mg of steroid tablets at various strengths up and down like a yoyo - weaning myself off them now
    • ursoflex (i think its called) for this OC which i will now be on till they induce
    • 2-3 piriton (anti-histimenes) a day.
    • and some steroid cremes before the tablets.
but yes.... I have panicked the whole time about any damage - i don't think i'll be happy till i have him in my arms healthy.
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

Supermaiden.. I am pathetic I eat nothing but ice cream and ice pops and drink juice when I have silly tonsils.. I cannot face anything else.. if you can manage it try a smoothie.. I don't drink milk but I am sure they will be fine and you can load with fruit. I find the AB's usually take about 4-5 days to start working but it gets no worse in the meantime.. hopefully yours will work quicker! a couple of ears ago I excelled myself I had tonsillitis then at the same time I got a massive kidney infection so my kidneys were not working properly and I was weeing blood and to top it all I got glandular fever! I actually wanted to die at that point!

    Afternoon/evening!!!

I'm having a very hurty day today. Hips feel like they're on fire. Went to watch my middle child play football at a 5-a-side tournament yesterday, and even though I took a chair to sit on, it was obviously still too much and now I'm suffering :(

I'm 25+1 today so I feel like time is starting to pas quite quickly now at least. Plus, I finally have a physio appointment :j:j:j:j

I got a phone call yesterday morning to book me in for Tuesday afternoon. Here's hoping they can do something to help me.

    Hey all.

Had a mad week so not really been keeping up with what's happening on here. Congrats to the new mummies I have missed. :)

Am 29 weeks today! In some ways time is going mega fast and quite slowly in others.

We booked a 4d scan last Sunday, got there and girly bump was being very shy. Had her hands over her face and was hiding her face in my placenta. So we went back this morning for a rescan and she was sitting perfectly, however, the scanner at Babybond wouldn't go into 4D! Couldn't believe it! We have a fab 2d pic though and they've booked us into Livingston (which is about an hour away) tomorrow and are upgrading the scan package. So fingers crossed for 3rd time lucky.

Had a growth scan at the hospital on Monday and she's emasuring bang on the 50th percentile (except for her long legs lol), so good news there. Apparently I might have a urine infection, but will find out next week.

The midwife at the hospital didn't know about the maternity physio clinics being reduced from 5 a week (in the afternoons) to 1 and was really shocked. My appointment is a week on Thursday and it can't come quick enough.

Labour vibes to those in need x.
